Yes I belive it will. I did not do it but there is nothing in that process that would need a central server. I was able to actuate all engine components like coils or spark so abs should also actuate

Not sure if i understand the question, its able to record injector opening time in mili seconds. But i dont think you can get the ECU 'calibration' - thats imported into ECU via a file (i seen an option to import sensors calibration data in the software). And tbh. im not sure if such thing exists for petrol injectors it does for resistance based sensors but injectors are just on-off switches. Maybe im just not aware

Probably not, at least not the unit i have. If you buy one that is mentioned as working with new models then sure but car makers are clampig down on access to any kind of diagnosis and diagnosis tools hard. Check on ali expres if they explicitly say it will work - but my advice is for NEW car try getting autel devices (i use one that is fairly basic but i can do most things i need form it). Send them an email and ask explicitly if their device supports actions you want to do on the specific car model.

Hyundai/KIA have a new diagnostic system, this older GDS/VCI will not work with your car.

I believe as a real thing, you can actually look this up just type in gds

@@pwilkutowski I called a manufacture and they said the gds vci unit and tablet that comes with it is just shy of 7,000$ usd . No way any of theese are real but as long as the software cds arnt used i think we should be fine

No i don't think so - smarta is rooted into bcm if im not mistaken. No interface will do it you would need to read and custom code the eprom. Im just swapping a different motor and ecu and have same problem with smarta messing with me

@@pwilkutowski really late, but incase someone else asks. You have to change the pin on the units you swap to match the ones already there. Had same issue on Hyundai Smartra with genesis coupe. Can google for how to gwt the PINs from vin.

@@TechSlapped hmmm this is good info any additional links or references? I got 4.6 v8 ecu now In the tuner shop - one of things that can block my swap is smarta. So any references/ links to look up will be useful

@@pwilkutowski I did most of it myself so not too many resources for the procedure. But what you need is a code broker/autolocksmith to get the PIN for your current vehicle or locate a Hyundai Kia "Vin to Pin" calculator. In the GDS software you have to reset the pin of the unit you replaced so all the components have the same pin.

That was a Win7 laptop (got a bunch old hardware that I use for my cars) For a hobby diagnosis just *get* a totally legal NOT pirated windows version. Microsoft and theirs NSA partners need our support so totally don't commit any felony by downloading their spyware system for your one time use diagnosis.

@@stanisaw8100 kurde to szkoda myślałem ze wystarczy sam pin auta. możliwe iż trzeba by poszukać odpowiedniej wersji softu na "ruskich" forach :/ będę u siebie próbować dodać kluczyk jak auto zacznie jeździć (narazie rozebrałem skrzynie / mechatronike) wiec jeszce to roche potrwa.

@@pwilkutowski niestety jakakolwiek funkcja wymagająca programowania rząda połączenia do internetu. W tym immo i piloty. Ruskie stronki posprawdzane i niestety ciężko z tym. Na forum mhh auto był jakiś koleś w 2015 co sprzedawał licencje za $100. Wtedy nawet można aktualizować softy.

i have the US version as the car im using this for, is a 'gray' import from USA. But it does nto matter the units are same the software is GDS US / UE is whats diffrent. For ECU update i would say no as it needs to connect to Hyundai server and that will brick this unit, maybe if you would have local ecu dump and tr it this way but it will try connecting to server one way or another. Best thing is to treat this cheap clone as diagnostic tool not as update / write to ecu.

TBH no idea not tried it but i think it does, its basically dealer level access so if a dealer tool does it this clone should also

Debería funcionar con algunos, pero tengo 2010. Depende de la versión 'GDS'. Escriba en inglés, tal vez pueda ayudar

@@pwilkutowski I have a 2020 hyundai i30 and I wanted to activate it so that the windows are lowered with the remote control, and I don't know if with the program you have the option to activate it. thank you very kind

@@Velaino0587 Well for coding you need to connect to Hyundai server and this 'china' version of GDS so .. i don' think you can do it

Not a 100% but i think you can, i actually need to test this as i have one key fob.

@@pwilkutowski do you have the option in the GDS software to program the key fobs? Also, where did you get the GDS software?

@@chimpun1979 option is there but i never used it. And The software came with the hardware but it is out there wink. Wink.

@@pwilkutowski ok, do you know if the versions have the same capabilities, options, etc? Can I also update the software? or do I have to download a new version?

I'm trying to see if I can program my key fobs.
