Time before the bell to try 7 genetics questions that deal with vocabulary? You'll also get answers complete with illustrations and explanations while music plays in the background. It's a valuable way to use those minutes before the bell. This particular video asks about the following vocab: heterozygous, homozygous, dominant, recessive, genotype, phenotype, and allele. Appreciate ya’ll!!!! I’m in a tough bio honors class and I have to know like everything for the tests, the test this time had 78 questions and I got only one multiple choice wrong, and you guys helped me so much!! I have a problem with the 7th question

hey, so im just learning this but I'm pretty sure I get it. So the child guinea pig is Hh. In the problem, they say that one of the parents is hh (both recessive), so that recessive trait (h) will be shown due to the absence of a dominant trait (H). So, we can think of the h in Hh from the child guinea pig, to be from the first parent. However, we still have the H in Hh from the child guinea pig. As we know, H is dominant and h is recessive. Hence, Any possible combination must lead to H. a) and b) are wrong, as it is both (the right answer, d) ). it can't be c), because that would mean h would be expressed, and we need H. Same goes for e) and f). Hope this helped :D.
