Such a lovely video. A real memory recall for me. My family have driven this motorway for many years to the Monte Blanc tunnel to Italy when we used to travel to Savona to see family (my parents were Italian from Savona). We would drive from London, so by the time we reached the A40 Route Blanche we were very tired but really excited. Such wonderful scenery.

My parents would not dare to pay for the tunnel, instead we would go on the A43 until Modane in France and then go on Mont cenis until Susa Italy then take the E70 until Slovenia because we would go to Romania to see grandparents and etc.

Visit Switzerland in September. Planning day trip from Geneva to Chamonix but I don’t know is there better take bus tour or rental a car to drive there . Thanks if u can give me some advice 🥰

No just a lot of traffic when people get to work France to Geneva morning et Geneva to France the evening

Tips to enter switzerland, 1 Do not be rude to any peopoe at the border, try to remain calm even if something is wrong. 2. You need a vignette if you want to access the swiss highways, if not you will be stopped by police or given a fine, 3. Know the swiss laws, do not enter the country and think that it has the exact same laws as your country, America, Japan, Russia etc. 4, welcome to switzerland.😊
