Instead of raffia for your fabric wrapped pumpkins you could add some twine 'vines'. To make them you coat the twine with glue and twist them around a plastic wrapped dowel. When the glue dries you simply slide the 'vine' off the pencil and glue around the stem.
I love 'em all! I'm a glue stick girl, too. I make pillows out of the Dollar Tree placements. I glue stick the opening where you put the stuffing in with a glue stick. I haven't had one pop open yet.
I love that gather sign, Kristin. It looks great without a bow. I don't make very good bows either. I didn't know the glue stick would work on top of the fabric. Great tip, thank you. I love everything today. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.
I would like to know how long her crafts using a glue stick over lasts because I use the purple Elmer's glue stick for just about everything but I always seal it with mod podge.
You never disappoint! These are so pretty and I have often wondered if you use a glue stick on cloth. Thanks for showing me how easy it is! The materials have beautiful fall colors. TFS Nana Brenda
Cute! Cute! Cute! Kristin, really great use of those DT fabrics. I especially like the plaid one on the first project, and then the pumpkin. Adorable. Have a blessed day 💖✝
The multicolored bracelet you showed reminded me of the candy necklaces we used to get!! Really liked all of the other projects also! Happy Gall!! 🍂🍄🟫🍁🍄 Barb in Kent Ohio
You are the sweetest I swear, I absolutely love your style of crafting and your sweet personality is the biggest plus ever thank u Kristen Kay. My middle name is Kay also. Patti Kay is my name super cool
Hello Kristen I love all of these they are super cute. Dollar general has a few things out for fall so I picked up some things. Glue sticks are amazing use it for everything. Can’t wait to see what else you make for fall. Have a great day ❤
My history has been that I don’t use fabric often but I have been working on some fabric DIYs recently. I always love the beautiful fabric but can’t ever decide what to do with it. I’m purposing to try and change that. Love these projects you made!🧡
I was at DG and was looking at the dollar isle which is cheaper than DT I thought of you 😊 love the colors and how you incorporated it 😊 very beautiful have a lovely week 💗🧡🌈🦋
Hi, Kristin. I love all the fall craft items that you creat. We are going to Dollywood in September for their Fall Fest. I am so excited because it will be our first time 😊
I'm going to make some of those fabric covered pumpkins. Bows really are easy to make and there's so many different ways you can make them. Always make sure to use wire edged ribbon. All kinds of videos on RU-vid or if you go to a craft store they will usually show you how to make a bow.
Love seeing what others do with fabric. I'm always thinking about projects using fabric as I'm obsessed with it!! Lol. Love all of these you made. I have not seen the fall fabrics at DT, yet. Went to DG but did not find the wood words, but bought some other Fall items. Hope to find them soon. T4S!!
I looked all of them. You’re the first one that I’ve seen using fabric on the wood blanks. Good tip on using the glue stick. I find mod podge very messy to use
Kristin, once again I love everything you do. Your ideas are awesome and you do things that we can all do and probably most of us have the stuff already at home to do list of what you make. I’d never have what you have but usually I could make similar items with stuff I have in my stash, that’s only cos we don’t have DT or any other stores you have here in Australia. TFS Kristin, I always love your videos no matter what you do on them. Hope you’re having a great week.
@@KristinKayyes Kristin we have a store called the Reject Shop which is reasonable but they don’t have heaps of craft stuff, not what I use anyway, I can go on line and shop at TEMU lol, like I have done but I’m hopeless with sizes and I always get stuff that is really small. I can go on an online craft store and they have a fair amount of wood stuff but it’s not always that cheap either. I admit I’m very impatient and I hate waiting for stuff to be delivered lol. Postage is a killer though cos most stuff comes from overseas. I’ll work it out and see what Amazon Australia has. We can’t buy from your Amazon. I can also buy from woodpecker craft (think I got the name right) and there are some others who do ship to Australia. It’s nearly the weekend Kristin so hoping you have a fantastic weekend.
@@pamelataylor3537 Temu really isn’t a bad place to buy craft supplies. Such a bummer you don’t have a variety but also you’re lucky you can’t accumulate a ton of junk😊😂
@@KristinKay LOL Kristin, I live where there’s really no shops but I’ve managed to collect a lot of junk believe me. I must have bought a lot from TEMU I think. I also have a lot of stuff in storage that I can’t get at cos it’s too far away. I have to work out how I’m going to get to it. When I moved I did it in a very big hurry and only took a couple of changes of clothes. I got on a plane and my daughter packed up all my stuff and put it in storage. It will be like Christmas for me with my craft stuff cos I have a ton of it. If it’s survived being stored.
Girl you crack me up. They are sll very cute. I started using glue sticks too because of you. It works great. T4S that idea. I will use mod podge sonetimes too, depending what i am working on. Happy crafting!👍😘
I love your fall & Christmas videos!! Your creativity & eye for detail are amazing!! You always give me so much inspiration when I have a creative block. Not to mention, our tastes are almost exact, lol. I just bought all those same fabrics at DT 😅 I thought they were so pretty & colorful. I can't wait to start crafting tonight, watching your older vids & drinking my "adult creativity boosting" drink fresh from my Gingerbread man tumbler, which still looks perfect, btw. Thanks again, girlie, for everything 💗
I've been using the purple Elmer's glue stick for about 5 years now, unless it's a rigid area then I would have to use mod podge, however, I do mod podge over my fabric, paper, wood, whatever it is that I'm doing, I've never done the glue stick over it, I'd be afraid of it not sealing well. I just went to my aunt's house and I had given her a wood sign that I used a glue stick on with mod podge over the paper about 5 years ago, I couldn't believe that it looked like the day I gave it to her.
Love the gather sign. Have you ever watched Olivia's Romantic Home. She is a crafter, and she has videos on making bows. My bow skills used to be 0. Lol. I watched her videos on her Olivia bow, it's really easy. A lil practice, you will be a pro. I also have a bow dabra an that's easy too.
Kristin I love all of your projects! Beautifully done! I bought some fabric and got some inspiration from you! Thank you! My Dollar General just closed, short notice! 🤎🧡🍁🍂🌻
