I can't think of anything to comment so I'm just going to post a Blueberry pancake recipe. 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar 1 egg 1 cup milk 1/2 tablespoon butter, melted 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, thawed 1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. In a small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Mix in the butter and fold in the blueberries. Set aside for 1 hour.A 2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Math olympiad tests waaay different abilities, not just quick algebraic calculation. Tho, as a math olympiad you should know easy tricks like that digits cubes is a complete residue system mod 10, so you can easily know the cube root of any perfect cube just by its last digit.

No, you just need practice. And here in this video the order of operations was ignored which makes it a little bit easier. So no unusual brain or any gift.

@@stalinx82 I am sorry there's a little correction here it was a book written by an indian monk Bharati krishna it includes mathematical techniques to calculate maths problems in a faster way and those techniques were retrieved from the VEDAS ! it still means the mathematical techniques that were used in vedic period.. For example: Ekadhikena purvena :- For any integer ending with 5, the square always ends with 25 and begins with the multiple of previous integer and one more than the integer. For example: Square of 25 is 2 x 3 .. 25 = 625. Square of 85 is 8 x 9 .. 25 = 7225

There used to be a time when I calculated as fast as her. Now I might be off by 2-3 seconds. I used to enjoy these mental maths (I still do).. and I trained myself to be that fast. And the way the equations are provided here, it isn't difficult.

These questions are pretty easy once you realise BODMAS doesn’t apply! They tend to give you simple numbers once you work past the roots and exponents.
