People's ability to comment on Stewart Lee videos without referring back to his classic material - especially by suggesting that some person or other has 'let themself go' - has let itself go.
I really like Stewart Lee. Aside: I don't really! Sotto Voce: I do really, I was just making a meta-narrative reference understandable by a minority of readers
Love the way Dean has predicted 8 years early correctly the opening dialogue between Stewart and the audience on the current Shark Tornado Snowflake tour.
Can you two both order a single tonne of manure for me? He's scuppered my previous attempts to acquire extra. I need to "Strangers on a Train" this problem and recruit accomplices previously unknown to me! 😅
I can't believe no one laughed at the socks reunited joke about socks getting divorces and stuff. Friends reunited!? Ass Lee might say - you're going to have to raise your game!
Wow. People take this show far too seriously. It's not meant to be a discovery of the next greatest inventions. It's meant to be a silly show with silly ideas.
I find Simon's proposal of virtual reality headsets for chickens all the more concerning because I suspect that 'chicken' is a metaphor for a certain race of human. I have made some deductions from the film 'American History X': The protagonist, Derek, is a member of a Neo-Nazi group lead by a man called Cameron. Derek is sent to prison where he gets bummed. This changes his views on Cameron and the Neo-Nazi group. When he is released from prison, he sets about leaving the group. He confronts Cameron and calls him a 'snake' and a 'chickenhawk', before beating him up and leaving. In a deleted scene set in a fried chicken restaurant, Cameron is conversing with his loyal sidekick, Seth. Seth is character based on Gabe Newell, head of Valve Software, and the scene contains numerous metaphors regarding the theft of an idea that would become one of Valve Software's most popular titles, 'Counter-Strike'. This game has a number of chicken references in it, all encouraging violence and aggression towards chickens. They are planning to release a virtual reality headset called 'Steam VR'. Plus theres Bruce and 'Abe' the film 'Looper', and Goose Gladwell and his 'loopy lawyers' in the Simpsons. 322 Skull & Bones plundering your ideas, Illuminati confirmed.
@@georgeclancy1755 it's from one of his more recent stand-ups; I forget which one (possibly If You Prefer A Milder Comedian). he goes through a long-sometimes absurd-list of people and things that others have confused him with, ie. Leonardo DiCaprio has let himself go, K D Lang has let himself [sic] go... etc. here's the clip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vVffIgFsJDg.html
No haiku from me, but Stewart Lee, how could thee Go on TV to such a degree (with poultry), Your applicability for this kind of TV < damn, I used repetition, but not in any meaningful way Is frankly... uhh... Angela Lansbury has let herself go!
He was cheated out of millions by religious fanatics, yet still has to feed his kids. That's what I think. Still feel swindled into watching a bunch of nitwits by placing Lee amongst them. But I actually did that to myself.
i watch this and think, gosh, dave gorman must have spent ages working on this. and how happy he must have been to have stuart lee join in. shame it's not very good x)
Err.... The virtual reality helmet for chickens was deemed NOT Genius, but was still included at the end when Stewart Lee had to decide who was to win the award. Eh? This. WILL. NOT. DO!!!
A genius does indeed know how to get the information very easily, but to dismiss genius because someone does not know every bit of information there is to know is stupid Did mankind evolve from monkeys or a fish?
Simulataneously the worst idea for your career and best idea for comedy. My guess is he'd go down like a sack of shite too as I can't see him swinging back, especially if when you threw said punch you wore glasses.
I find Dave Gorman boring, he is just not a comedian in my opinion, there seems to be something missing in his comedy, laughs for starters. He should have been a geography teacher.
