I'm not sure Einstein was as brilliant as everyone wants to believe... but I know he was smarter then me.

I was tested at 8 by MENSA and even though my IQ is a little lower than that I still had to re-take the exam with it being proctored by a whole council of people. It is all pattern recognition, problem solving and deductive reasoning anyway. IQ isn't as directly applicable as people tend to believe that it is. It is just the level of abstraction that you're capable of and your ability to figure things out with incomplete information.

Same thing happened to me. I was making millions when I was dumb. I knew nothing expect to market products to people. When you're very smart, they'll try to use the lack of money to stop you from becoming great. It's not easy to be very intelligent and wealthy. Most wealthy people only focus on one thing. they are simple minded. If you're intelligent, it's because you are forced to look into so many different things to derive the wisdom and knowledge that sets you apart from others but there are down sides to that as well, you won't be simple minded. Being simple minded works very well when it comes to accumulating money. Money is dumb! But you still need it. I have seen people who sell only ice cream earn 10's of millions of dollars a year. When it comes to money, you don't have to think too hard, just look around you, all the things you paid money for could make you wealthy if you focus on getting them to as many people as possible. Any product can do it! Even toilet rolls! All you have to do is get people to take it give you money in return. Then scale! Once you get your first sale, can you get 100 more sales? Then 1,000? It's just a dumb game. If you're too smart, it will be hard for you to play it.

Einsteins intelligence is relative to the time he was born in, and the levels of education, as well as current scientific levels of his time and discoveries he was able to subsume. If he was born in today's era and science, his intelligence and what he would be able to grasp and theorize would be even greater. A person with deep intelligence would understand that notion, and wouldn't make that parallel just based off of that fact alone. It's alittle erroneous of a statement to make if you really are an "intelligent" person. Just to extrapolate from an extreme for emphasis, the average person 500 years ago was not as intelligent as the average person today. We understand the basic interworkings of bacteria, and viral infection and how to counteract it daily more efficiently than people 500 years ago. And this knowledge is common today comparatively. 2. IQ goalposts shift based off of averages and time, because of pervious reasons stated (the passage of time gives the average person more knowledge). 100 flat average iq does not mean the same thing as it does 10 years ago. For example, a person with a 120 IQ tested in 1970, might only have an equivalency of a 110 IQ today, taking a same comparative test. With the adjustment of the iq drop in 2023 (first time it's happened in 100 years btw). 3. Alot of intelligent people love the beauty of discovery, and while they may be vain in the sense of discovery and hypothetical theory. When it comes to IQ testing and numbers, alot of them don't actually take it too seriously. And don't often say things as bragadocious as "I'm smarter than Einstein." Usually others are the ones to say that about them, but like I said, they usually don't take it to seriously. This last point is kind of a more personal statement than a fact obviously, but you can listen and watch some of our most intelligent people on the planet, give lectures, read their books, watch them talk about their field of study, and they're a very humble people. Anyways, that's my background reasoning behind that statement. It's not that someone can't be more intelligent than Einstein, but the fact that she's making that statement, would lean her down on not being as bright as she suggests.

Not quite how it works. But not that far off either. They recruit from schools after the early education IQ tests, which is why most people are recruited young, and then confirm with their own test which may need to be re-taken by a multi proctor exam. Then they get you to start paying dues. At one time it was actually a wise decision because it networked you to other potentially hyper successful people. It no longer serves that purpose and just takes people's money. I quit paying dues years ago.

When Mensa sent me a letter in highschool my dad asked me if I was going to join & I said “no”. He then laughed and told me that single question he asked was the real IQ test 😂

Men and women have different mean scores. Women are about 101. Men are 103. Which means that it is unlikely the idea of men being more likely to be idiots as well as geniuses is true. There is a much higher chance of men being higher IQ than women. I've read as high as 2/3.

I came up with 1 in 50 million, so ~80 total in the world. Still extremely unlikely, but within reason.
