Cosplay competition at the Genki.dk 2010 in Valby - Denmark
Sorry if some of the movies are a it shaky. I forgot my tripod at home :/

I'm Polish and I'm NOT offended because of ripping the flag. If I were you I would have had probably the same idea. It's really touching to see that non-polish person wanted to cosplay and play serious Poland during WW2 :O The whole act was awesome, I wish I could see this in real. :3

Great scene. I would say it's epic, but this word is funny to me, so I say it's serious and well done. Anyway, I like it. If I had to correct something, I would put III Reich flag instead of German at the beggining. And the Polish flag with White Eagle is used only by Marine Forces ;) Nothing offensive to me (I'm Polish).

Some very nationalistic and stupid people would feel offended for sure, lol *eyes-rolling*...But not me (I'm Polish), it was really dramatic and well-acted! Awesome!

@Silvera88 THANK YOU. Really. It means a lot to me (I was the Poland). Actually it means even more to me because you are Polish. I really love the country and have loved it since I was there in April with my class. I actually don't like the Hetalia Character Poland very much, but I REALLY like the country!

@MsMadxHatter Some guy on youtube called farhankk360 has made a piece of music called "Epic Voyage (Orchestra Composition)", it's awesome and we have used some some of it! And also a lot from X-ray Dog and Immediate Music. Also: sons of war - two steps from hell --- and... The Blitz Speed Drums - X Ray Dog, With an Iron fist - Immediate Music... That was it (: I'm very glad you like it, we put a lot of effort into it!

@pannanat Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! Well... First, we had four full days where we both did the music, the choreography and the storyline and also practised most of it... Then later in the summer holiday we had two days where we (even though one was missing because she couldn't come those days) did most of the fighting stuff and practised that, too. Then, the night before we were showing the act, we also practised... So yeah, a lot of practise.

@mewmewimaginary: I agree that this act dosen't have the hetalia persenality! But if you are searching for fan made videos of any kind of animes you will find seriously acts and funny acts! Hetalia is a comedy anime and that makes it difficult to make a funny act, because all the fun already is in the anime! The thing who is so amazing about this act is that the cosplayers use an animes character to show how the real history had gone! And thats an amazing!

@mewmewimaginary It didn't have any personality, didn't catch the essence of hetalia? Do you know how many crappy videos there are out there of Hetalia with lame comedy thats not even funny? Instead of mindlessly watching something, this actually makes you THINK of history, you really think history is all pink and dandy? You can say all you want, but this video has the most views for obvious reasons so far, and it didn't even win, sho sho, go watch pokemon or something = /

Wow, they really ripped off the flag! But true, it would've been better if it were performed inside, with less light. And... I can't decide whether the violence was good or bad XD It's good, makes more intense, but at the same time it kinda makes me uncomfortable. I just hope there wasn't little kids.

Since everybody else has commented in English so will I. I really liked this act. It was just too bad that it had to be performed outside on a sunny day. I didn't get the same intense feeling as I did with the Tour de Hetalia act at SVScon 2010.

@Noxdl Thanks for correcting that! I am the Poland there, and I have actually been trying to find out what is special about the flags with the eagle. Now I know. I have to go and get myself a non-eagle-polish-flag that is not ripped.

@AstridAller Basically, flag tricks xD A few of the things you did with your flags reminded me of moves from my color guard team, where we basically work with using flags for choreographed performances. (You did amazing by the way! ^^)

wow i am really stunned by the way they interacted...i think i have never seen such a brutal stage show before but thats the way it should be..thats war.
