Geno's vs. Pat's! Philly Cheesesteak Showdown! 

Great review. I've watched this one a couple times before, and watched it again since we just reviewed a philly cheesesteak truck out here. I've been to both Geno's and Pat's, and agree 100% with you, Pat's wins with more meat and chopped ribeye. Keep up the awesome reviews John!

I agree with your Pat's choice, but i tried them in reverse order and gave my Geno's to a homeless guy. The big cuts of meat made a big difference to me, Geno's was so chewy and fatty on the first bite. I probably didn't give it a fair chance, but all the times I've had Pat's since I've never been disappointed so I don't regret it lol

They both look really good. I agree with you, the finer cut steak always tastes better.

Wow that looked amazingly good! I've had a few really good Philly cheesesteak's before but i doubt they would hold a candle to either of those. Great vid man really enjoyed it.

Good review. Don't they both use ribeye? I'd have called it a tie with the chopped or not being a matter of personal preference. You cannot get a Philly cheese steak anywhere else in the country like the ones in Philly and South Jersey. Jim

Go there on a late weekend night and the crowd is at Geno's. White House Subs in Atlantic City is pretty good but, the best kept secret is Sugar Hill Subs in Mays Landing, NJ.

Great review as usual but while in AC you didn't go to the famous White House? They've been around since 1946..their Cheese steak is better than Pat's or Geno's..matter of fact there's this empty Pat's building that couldn't compete. No crappy cheese whiz either..they use provolone and fresh bread baked from down the block. The half cheese steak with onions and hot peppers is incredible!

I didn't dig pats I never tried Genos we will in September. Pats steaks has a massive onion taste I like onions but that was just too much onion for me. I was expecting cheese steak gold in my mouth
