The only thing people can really spoil is story spoilers, the majority of people don't read lore so there's not much to worry about when it comes to discussing characters. I bet 90% of people still don't know what stellarons are or why the main villian is doing what they're doing (I've... even seen people who don't know who the main villian is). I hope you enjoy your playthrough all i can say about the game is the team doing HSR has improved drastically from when it released so it will only get better as you progress. I will say this though, knowing the lore so many of the trailers hit different. Which can be cool, makes a second watch feel new.
I always hate when people complain about reactors getting spoiled on stuff when everytime i see it they always forget about trailers and things by the time they’ve gotten to it in game. And calling attention to these spoilers just makes people remember it more. Anyways mini rant over
FACTS! it’s not even a spoiler unless you give me context for it! I almost got spoiled on demon slayer Mugen train because people were saying I got spoiled by the trailer in the comments when I had no idea what was going on?! 😭
That may be true in some cases but I've seen the opposite too many times, reactors getting to the part of the story and ruining it for themselves because they DID remember well enough, so it's a legit concern. In any case, it's best just not to react to content for parts of the story you're still not at IMO.

***Spoiler free info thingy*** IPC is essentially Amazon, a galactic sized corpo that follows the Aeon of Preservation. There are 7 major departments in the IPC, one of them (and the one we know the most) is the Strategic Investment Department. This department has an elite team called the Ten Stonehearts lead by Diamond, the Emanator of Preservation. Diamond being the absolute chad he is, split his emanator powers and shared it with the members of the stone heart in the form of a cornerstone, granting each members of the Stoneheart special abilities like mind reading or something more. So far the Astral Express only met 3 of them in lore, but we do know a bit more about some of the other members: 1. Pearl is an intellitron (sentient robots), but she changed her appearance to look human 2. Opal (da baby) is apparently the most VIOLENT member of the group. Let that sink in
One last note - where to find the earliest in-game spoilers: scour the Herta Space Station and you can find a chapter draft (I think it's lying on a table in the "bridge" map but could be wrong) of a so far unpublished book authored by Herta on all the game's factions, and this chapter details how the IPC was founded. It's reasonably unbiased and gives you perspective on all of their good and bad points.
tbh i love the jade trailer, it's a great mix of "fanservice" and religious imagery which makes her character interesting. and the music goes hard, too
Fun fact for anyone that didn't know or realize, but Firefly existed before or during the aera of the aeons, which means that Firefly dates back to thousands of years, making her the oldest character in the entire game
In the Stonehearts' trailer, you can see who talked if you read the video's description. Besides Aventurine, there's Pearl (Kokomi robot), Sugilite (dark-skinned), Topaz, Jade, Obsidian (vampire girl), and Opal (boss baby). The ones who aren't present are mentioned in the dialogue.

Just so u know, Junli is not a cat, she just behaves like one sometimes, so they show that off by making it literal in some of the trailers. Always take those trailers with a grain of salt, never literally.
20:50 Granblue Fantasy, which is a gacha game, has a fighting game spin-off. This mean there IS a chance for a Genshin/Star Rail/ZZZ fighting game (copium)

If you're really into following the plot, you might want to do some of the character story quests and maybe "interlude chapters" in around the order they were released, and the very first clearly defined one - Silver Wolf's (I think it's called "Punklorde Mentality") will while providing more detail on what happened around the very start of the game also give you more background on the Simulated Universe project and serve as your character's canon introduction to that robot - who is a valued research partner of Herta's. (As surprising as this may seem, Herta is a social butterfly within her own element and seems to have taken the place of Elias Salaz as the member of the Genius Society constantly reaching out to the others.) Well, you've definitely spoiled yourself on _______, but I suppose you can still appreciate just how much foreshadowing on this there has been throughout the game, even before we'd heard of Penacony and long before you can realize that the main character has been copying her basic form while using a flame lance. (Oddly, this foreshadowing also goes all the way back to doing Silver Wolf's companion quest.) March 7th is less of a spoiler because it tells us basically nothing about her beyond that she can sort of "imagine" herself into sporadic competency at something in a few weeks provided she undergoes a suitably dramatic training arc - and we kind of already had that implied. In gameplay mechanics she's kind of like the permanent Dr. Ratio for all the new players who missed getting him: the developers seem to feel there's a long-term need for everybody in the game to have an Imaginary-aligned character and like the Preservation Path before it the Harmony Path for the main character is only clearly better if you're building within the meta or playing the parts of the game specifically designed for you to be using it within.
Jade is super fun to use, especially with Yunli. Since you have Jade use her skill on Yunli, she gets hit, she attacks, jade attacks. So many follow up attacks!
