Welt Yang, everyone's favorite earthling (and only earthling in this game really). Retired hero and anime producer. Most of his backstory is contained in Honkai Impact 3rd and its side material, so I doubt they'll touch on it much in this game.
@@AigisVibes720 everyone from honkai impact that is in star rail is from alternate universe, except for welt, he really travelled from hi3 universe to star rail universe, also the oldest playable character.
Glad you love Welt so much, you should watch some lore videos if you are interested but he is actually the only character in the lore to be directly from the Honkai Impact universe, as he is powerful enough to travel between alternate universes. I think you would enjoy his backstory alot, and it would give u a basis to understand the Star Rail universe/make it less confusing

You don't have to have played _Honkai Impact_ to enjoy this, but it does increase your enjoyment, in various ways. Also, Himeko. For reference, the characters with versions of something from _HI3_ or _GGZ_ that I know of are Kafka (a stigmata set), Silver Wolf (Haxxor Bunny), March 7th (bit of Kiana, bit of Elysia, and Carole's design), Dan Heng (Fu Hua by way of her Azure Empyrea battlesuit design, and because of Fu Hua, also to Kazuha through her Phoenix battlesuit design), Himeko of course, Bronya, Seele, Cocolia, Sushang, Luocha (Otto Apocalypse). I think that's it so far, but I hear an expy of Raiden Mei is also coming, which means Kiana can't be far behind. And then we'll have the trio again. Welt Yang is confirmed the same person from _HI3_ .
Welt is an amazing character, AND he's the only character who can deal Imaginary damage, which you will need for many encounters! Good luck getting him!
the canon is somewhat special as the intro... they started this game with canon while they just ended Honkai Impact's Part 1 story quest that spanned for 7 whole years with canon too...
@@donut1550Read my statement again "different heights,muscle, thickness etc.." meaning Welt and Sampo are in the same height group but their body mold is different and with girls as well on all the female mold currently Natasha actually have biggest boobas, Gepard is in the same height group as Trailblazer and Dan Heng but is bit taller and more thicker than them same thing as Dan Heng in the same height group but is more shorter than his group matee
The game is really great! I would offer one caution, the current content in the game is extremely short even compared to when Genshin first came out, so you'll likely hit that wall where there's nothing to do other than dailies sooner than later. I think as long as you're prepared for that, you'll have a great experience with the game. I hope you continue to enjoy the game!
Yeah you really don’t have to play Honkai impact if you don’t want to you can just watch cutscenes from the game or read the story manga stuff, and considering Welt is the same one from the that universe there’s actually a story manga for him specifically. But other then that just do what makes you happy I just posted this just incase if you or other people are interested or not.

One of the several things i really love about Mihoyo's game is that their game start screens are really really creative. Honkai Impact 3rd has you on the elevator on an elevator of an Air-battleship (which you're the captain of) and when you click it it'll go up and open its door as though it's an actual elevator. Genshin has us waiting in front of a Door to Teyvat, standing atop of the many roads in the sky in Celestia. And that the time of the day around the door would change according to your local timezone. Honkai Star Rail has the Astral Express moving towards its destination with stars ans galaxies sparkling in the distance. Man, they really are creative bunch.
personally i think the reason why alot of people like star rail more than genshin is primarily 2 reasons 1 is that there is no paimon rehashing whats been said like every 5 seconds and 2 there is no filler resulting in a much more streamlined and much better written story. also the mc is not trash unlike genshin
23:40 The difference here is we dont know how to play genshin in the early days so bennett is not being tested well while Arlan he is very good in the beta so Devs started Nerfing him at launch plus we got to see many Beta test from other Content Creators to promote it so we got an idea how to play it. Overall I think Arlan is decent but it is just he was too great in Beta
I guess the worst one would be flyme2themoon, but it’s their oldest and just a simple obstacle course game. The music is rlly good in it tho and also uses Hatsune Miku’s voice

This game is actually a sequel to Genshin: Zhongli and Xiao finally fulfilled all those fanfics and had a baby together, Paimon grew up and learned how to use a bow from Amber, and the Traveler got super into baseball, then they all went into space together.
All 4 star character is equivalently good or can be broken. Its all on how one spend time to build him and the artif...I mean "relic". Arlan can be broken, March 7th, Asta (super good in breaking shield solo mob with Fire weakness), that girl with fat chocobo summon, etc. So yeah, just use those characters you like.
Hi. I missed you! BTW, you will regret not leveling up MC. Main reason is her cuteness and funny dialogues though! MC of this game is what we wanted the Genshin MC to be like. So sad, poor Lumine! Bronya is the Bennet of HSR. But Bronya upgrades all offense stats of all party members. Always always do the Simulated Universe daily. At least once. It's a better spiral abyss I believe. New pretty reward daily!
Though you don't need to play Honkai Impact 3rd, I do think you'll really enjoy it though, it has a fantastic emotional story and characters that go through a lot.
How did it not look like a train? :o It's almost as if you woke up and your brain is still asleep xD Its just that star rails and its a train and its in space, right in front of you and you dont connect the dots... If I come of as harsh or agressive or callous or w/e then sorry.
