They said that supposedly making the Events in Genshin permanent will take to much space on the Datas. I call Bullshit on that. They are just to freaking lazy to make their Job. Genshin is lacking so many QOL Features that many Games before it already have, and not just Gacha Games. This Game feels so outdated in every way possible. And it seems they didn't even bother to improve the new Artifact System by removing that one Bottle per Patch Limit. I swear, the Genshin Devs are so freaking incompetend, it's ridiclious. I know attacking Game Devs is usually bad and wrong, but for this Game I think we can all agree to make an Exception on that, because these Devs simply don't give a crap about their Playerbase.

Second, lack of deph in combat gameplay, a combat where you keep rotate spamming 2 to 3 moves out of 10 in your entire kits while barely do any positioning is called lack of depth, bosses are hp sponge, the biggest offender is the dodge button which only help you move a little faster for just 0.5 to 1second and there is no i-frame, further discourage high skilled combat.

They use FOMO tactic targeting f2p player as their last resort in desperately holding players back, a kind of manipulating peoples. That just means the numbers are not as good after all their teary speak. F2p players that can converted to spending players are most likely will choose the newer, more rewards, better QoL, "dev listened" games.
How exactly is a 12 week time window fomo?! Like if you don't explore an area in 3 months worth of time, then that's on you, not them. Especially when of the game's main focus is exploration. Events, yeah are fomo, the 500 primogems are somewhat fomo (for new players only in all honesty), but if you don't do a main quest when it comes out and you either wait or don't ever do it, first off, what are you doing in the game at all? And second, that's on you again, not them. They give the contente. Not doing it isn't their fault.

And their fanbois still claim WuWa doesn't have anything about it, when after 4 years and after a few months after WuWa launch, Genshin releases so many changes that they didn't even release in the past 4 years because of no competition. even the endgame they said they'll never provide because they said they don't want to stress their players with it, they've eat their words and changed their mind, immediately made it a few months after WuWa launched. They really got shaken really hard.

Doesn't WuWa have echoes grind? I feel that's worse, especially sincs whenever I go farm for echoes I always get echoes I don't want instead of the ones I need!

@@ghoulknight1526 Well RNG does exist so...yeah The only difference is that wuwa lets you farm builds anytime anywhere you want without also consuming waveplates whereas genshin wants you to go to these domains and spend resins to farm artifacts

For skip button, why would they put a feature that skip the main selling point of the game? If you mean to skip just the repeatable quests like daily, it's a good QoL but we don't do daily that much now anyway because of the daily system rework. It's a good addition tho if the loadout are added.
@@aljuneartart it's not that simple in real practice, yes it's optional but players tends to skip story if the pacing is slow. So imagine you skipped a slow pacing but have important thing on it and later got confused about the story. It's better if its not added in the first place if we want a "max" attention to the story. Like heck, even hsr don't have such feature. So yeah, I just trying to understand why hoyo don't implemented skip feature yet.

My take: 1)Xilanen - holly damn, finally some beautiful women coming instead of teenagers, kids and pixels. Her kit sounds coll and her move set is amazing. 2)Timed rewards - welp, it's gen's devs alright. If they can't destroy any update with overly restrictive rules in any new feature, then it's a FOMO sticker. 3)Banners - I have every character, so my leopard gyaru waifu will be coming home! Btw wish all to win 50/50 4)2 translators working as VA's - honestly they did ok job, if we compared to some livestreams with prof. VAs, that were cringe as hell. 5)Abyss QoL - after 4 years, they finally doing something, that supposed to be in game long ago..... 6)Anniversary - oh yeah, right, that thing... "blows the smallest party blower whistle" 7)Anni video - honestly it's such a low budget production, that it's pathtic. I saw better AMVs and fan-made animations all the time. And the song is so bad.... It's ether non-english singer, or it's an AI voice with autotune
literally the hoyofair had better animations and better voices for their songs. the fact this is their big Anni video and stuff you would expect maybe like something more. hey that genshin anime sneak preview? haha nope. 40 pulls? haha yeah nope. i almost fell asleep during the stream itself and regret staying up to watch 30 minutes of nothing. this wasn't a mid update, more like makes me wanna go back to wuwa or hsr and quiet genshin till i see something that i want to do in genshin aside from farming artifacts 24/7.
Wuwa is already implementing permanent patch events, i dont mind genshin, i been playing on and off since day 1, but any updates feel like they just add them on a whim wayyyyy after the community has begged for it since day 1, artifact load outs as an example, we still can't save sets to swap around
And it's not like the loadout is some crazy fucking phenomenon QoL or anything. Monster hunter has loadout for fucking everything, your gear, your item, your crafting, your crafting MID combat, hell even your cats and dogs have loadout for their gear, and loadout for their skills. I dont really dont watch entire live stream. I just watch people giving reviews and short guides. Genshin no skip button why i have a long list of uncompleted world quest while in wuwa i cleared almost everything. I do have c6 itto and plan to c4 r1 xilonen to boost him futher...c2 will allow mono geo buff. Im more happy willing to pay to make it work and yes i watch leaks.
Considering this is still Archon quest area...this update looks very.... empty. With the kind of money that Hoyo makes there's absolutely no excuse as to why we're not getting at least 2 companion quests per season. Like the first half should always have a character quest regarding the new area (Natlan characters in this case) and the second half should give us a character quest with older characters. Like Venti, Mona, Eula, Diluc and others. Hoyo makes more money in one update than some studios make in an entire year. No excuse at all.

The only good thing about the livestream are the two people speaking because they get straight right to the point. No more cute this cute that amazing this amazing that.
Do want to point out though HSR has had a skip for MoC for a while, you still have to do floors 7-12 where with Genshin you only have to do 11 and 12. It already was less work than HSR with 4 floors vs 6 but now its even less with 2 vs 6 so I think Genshin wins out on this one and its the exact same amount of gems. Genshin is less work for the same rewards as HSR that powercreeps to hell every patch
Before I watch the video, I want to share my opinion of the patch and see how it holds up after the video. The trailer was good, like a 7. The live stream was a 5 and the events and content were a 4. I didn't like the NPCs, maybe if they made it live, it would've been better. The story looked like a 8. I think that the next story will be better. The new character is a 9 for me. She looks awesome, her gameplay is great and she seems like she is going to be a great addition to my roster. I think that we could have gotten better optimizations. No new area so -1. Overall, the patch looks like a solid 7. as a point of reference, 5.0 was a 9 out of 10 for me. If they added a new area and better events with optimizations that we wanted, it could have been a 9 or a 10. Also, more rewards. I'm going to play the story for a day and go back to finishing the Witcher 3 until the next story content releases.
