Genshin Impact Anime Opening 「SAVIOR OF SONG」ナノ Farewell, Archaic Lord Arc 

Would just like to thank all of you for the massive response to my first Genshin Impact project! I know Im not as good as the rest out there but I'll do my best in making more of these. As much as possible I dont want to reuse scenes so it might take a while for a season 2 OP, maybe until Inazuma comes out. Happy holidays to all of you guys and good luck in all your future pulls!

1:15 Why am i hearing it like "Save your resin"

this is really very cool, at the beginning displayed 7 characters in 7 countries

I love how this portrays Zhongli as the unstoppable mentor character who'll probably get killed the arc before the finale arc, for the MC to get his second to final power-up.

Several things I love about this OP (I'm not a musician so excuse my poor connoisseur skills lmaoo): - 0:01"I look across a raging war and feel the steady beating of my heart" The line actually goes really well with how the young boy must've felt when he led the rebellion against Decarabian. The music is soft and feels like it's singing the start of a story. - 0:10 When the first drop came with the explosion and the Storyline Chapter titles appeared one after the other in quick succession matching the tempo of the music that's when I knew this was gonna be lit. - 0:22 You already know why this part is good. - 0:24 to 0:33 The music slowed down for more sentimental scenes especially with the Lantern Rite with Xiao. (You'll also notice how everyone looks up into the sky.) - 0:34 This scene is where Diluc prepares to fight the Abyss Mages and the Hilichurls which is now accompanied with the music starting to pick up its pace which really adds up to the tension and hype. - 0:39 Razor picks up his claymore and by the time he makes his fighting stance the music jumps up - 0:42 Lumine (though canonically it's supposed to be Aether) reaches out in pain for someone which is then revealed to be Venti. The camera focuses on his chest referencing to his Gnosis being taken. (The scene of Lumine reaching out was taken from that event actually.) - 0:46 Arguably the best part of this OP when Signora attacks and unleashes a blast of chilling wind towards Venti which then starts a compilation of the best fighting scenes in the game. You'll notice that before this point not a single attack or sense of action was shown which adds to the hype's climax. - 1:06 That Fatui Agent transition is lit af - 1:07 It really looks like Xiangling looks up in the sky in worry and then smiles in relief. The reason shown in the next scene where the Adepti fly in the clear skies after the part where we defeat Osial. - 1:18 A compilation of the character's smooth af Elemental Bursts and other cinematic scenes - 1:25 The scene used to end the OP (Venti shooting an Anemo-imbued arrow) is the same scene that was used to end his Character Demo video. Honestly my favorite Genshin Anime Opening rn.

You know this made me think: the five star characters are all the ones that have cinematic bursts. The main character is technically a five star and I really hope they get a cinematic burst sometime, they really should have one in my eyes

I just gotta say, that part with Zhongli’s ultimate ability being viewed for a slightly longer moment than all the other ults is pretty funny to me.

When Ning is not a 5* character but acts like one and appears with other 5*

Close up attacks are actually a very good transition tool

Okay woah, you really captured the mood of the song well, something I don't see often on some edits where they just pack whatever's awesome into a verse when the beat's pretty slow, so wow. I love this.

I'd never think that A song about Futuristic world war 2 ships fighting each other Would match with a fantasy world

I rarely comment on RU-vid. But this was legit the first op crafted from game cutscenes wich didn't feel like a slideshow or a complination of game moments with different background music. Anime style helps a lot. Overall, good job!

This OP absolutely nails the marriage of scene to song. Razor's movements are exactly on the beat--hell, Diluc's kicks are on the beat, are you kidding me?! And you do it over and over and over. And then you tell a story with it, with a coherent arc of peace, preparation, disruption, action, and a bridge to the climactic ult montage. And that story weaves together different elements of the post-Dvalin arc, neither a slave to chronology nor chaotic to the point of incoherence. You link it back to the world's history and the inciting incident with the traveler - which is, of course, in accord with the lyric at that moment! I am sent. This is some damn fine craftsmanship.

Coming back here again because this is really so cool. It felt nostalgic watching this now because the game has so many cutscenes now.

You can never go wrong with ナノ 「nano」and genshin 😌. よくやった!

I have watched so many openings and THIS IS THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL😆😆 The subtle touches with the song like when the song is in slow tempo, you introduced the characters first and when it comes to the chorus, you changed the pace with the action scenes. The timing also on point and I LOVE IT SO MUCH😍

3 months later into this game and I still can't find a genshin op as good as this one

The pace, the transitions, the timing and the way its not all over the place makes it good, ofc the song makes it hype but gotta credit on how it was greatly done, good job!!

What’s funny about this opening song is my brother and I listen to it every night cause we have this little “ritual” of, after watching the anime episodes of the night, we then watch a bunch of anime openings we like from anime we’ve watched together. Arpeggio of Blue Steel is one of them (Edit steel autocorrected to steal)
