As others have said, Furina is one of the best supports in the game. However her level up items are very far away for you, so you won't be able to level her for a while (you can technically just walk there, but it is far away and it does ignore the stories order of when you should visit which country). Her burst (Q) also makes you lose HP (in exchange for more power) that could be making it more complicated for you in the beginning. If you like her, than go for it, but I'm not sure if I would recommend Furina for a beginner. For the worshiping of the statue of the sevens, you collect items found randomly in the world. The items are called anemoculus, geoculus etc). These items show up on your minimap as little white stars. Once you have enough, you can just worship whenever you want and get the rewards. You don't have to hold on to them, just offer them all. There is no other use of those items

Additional tips: 7) You cannot configure your Party (the L key) while you are in combat or gliding. 8) Instead of running everywhere, you can use the Teleport waypoints and Statues of the Seven to teleport around the map, getting you closer to your destination faster. 9) When Enhancing weapons, you should use the Enhancement Ore (purple crystals) in your inventory, rather than the other weapons you have spare, at least initially. Later, when you better understand what weapons are useful, you can then use the 'junk' ones as enhancement fodder. But for now, stick with using the crystals rather. You are building a steady supply of the purple crystals by going to the blacksmith regularly. Later in the game when you have more resources, you can get the blacksmith to create more powerful weapons. 10) The Wishing (gatcha) System: this can be a bit overwhelming at first, but take your time to carefully read each screen and item. This will help you to know what does what. You accumulate Primogems through various means: in-game challenges, opening chests, completing quests, outright purchases using real-world money, etc. You need 160 Primogems for each Wish you make. A Wish is a 'pull' on the RNG-based reward system, to hopefully get something good. You can get 3-star weapons, 4-star weapons, and 5-star weapons. You can also get 4-star characters and 5-star characters. The Wish system is split into several different 'banners' (sections). For example, the Standard Banner is permanently available, and contains some characters that you cannot get on the revolving limited-time Character banner. Similarly, characters that you can pull for on the limited-time banner usually cannot be pulled for on the Standard banner. The limited-time banner usually runs for a few weeks, and then changes to different characters to pull for. The wish-currency used to pull on the Standard Banner is Acquaint Fates (the Blue wish) and the Limited-Time, Weapon and Chronicle Banners use Intertwined Fates (the Pink wishes). Regardless of which wish-currency type you use, they cost 160 Primogems each. Most of the time, you are aiming to get a 5-star character or weapon. They are the best in the game, although some 4-star characters (like Xingqui) are very good too. Note that if you are 'unlucky' when pulling, you might not get anything good. You could potentially have to wish up to a maximum of 90 times before getting a 5-star weapon/character (although mathematically, even if you are very unlucky, you are almost certain to get a 5-star within about 80 wishes). So if you do the calculations, 80 x 160 means you might need to earn 12800 Primogems in order to get a 5-star. And THEN, on top of that, you might lose your 50/50 chance to get the 5-star you want (and get another, random 5-star). If you lose your 50/50 chance, the next 5-star you pull is guaranteed to be the one you are wishing for on that banner. The calculations are different for the Weapon banner - I recommend NOT pulling on the Weapon banner until you are a LOT more familiar with the wishing system. Wishes are intentionally expensive, to prompt you to spend real-world money in order to get the characters you want. This is how the developers fund their otherwise free-to-play game. Lastly, a 3-star pull is denoted by a blue-star animation, a 4-star pull is denoted by a purple-star animation, and a 5-star pull is denoted by a golden-star animation. It might take a few attempts to notice the different animations. 11) Go check in with Katherine on a daily basis. You will find her in each town in the world. 12) Press J to access your Quests menu. Press ENTER to chat to friends. Press V to get a navigation prompt to your current objective. Most importantly, have fun!

About the characters - there are a lot of characters in the game and they all look amazing. u can see all of them in the menu -> character archive. I know it's very tempting to pull the character that available right now. But sometimes it's worth saving. Here some math for u: worst case scenario - u need 90 pulls to get 5* character, u will lose the 50/50 and get a 5* u don't want and then u will need to pull 90 more times to get the 5* character u want. That's 180 pulls = 28,800 primos. If u want to spend money, the welkin moon is the best offer (4.99 GBP). U will get 90 primos per day and u will have to play every day or u will lose your daily primos. U just started the game and I think the best thing u can do is pull a dps. Even if u get Furina she's not going to help u if u don't have a good dps that she can support. Next week we will have the special program (a week and a half before the end of the patch) and we will know which characters will be available next patch. I suggest to wait until u know who will be next patch and then make a decision.

I agree that Furina is a great character! Also thank you for adding me! 😊 10:58 -Lisa is quite helpful in the beginning levels. She is good with attacking flying monsters/enemies. Lisa is a catalyst and uses Electro power. 14:56- Yeah some challenges are timed and elemental reactions help you kill quicker than straight melee. I know at first it can be tough to decide who gets what artifacts. I still spend a lot of time trying to equip the right ones for the right teams lol. Pressing Enter on your keyboard brings up the chat faster. When you go to the statues and unlock them you can see more of the map. Each statue unlocks a section at a time. Another enjoyable video! For Chinese names it is easier to assume X = sh and q=ch . So Qiqi is Chichi and Xinqiu is Shinchu. Close enough 😅

i think it's too early in the game to be worried about pulling for spectacular 5 star characters. I'd say, become familiar with all aspects of battling first. You might have a preferred battle style that suits some characters and not others. Eg. I'm a cowardly fighter so prefer to not have a close up attack person. I prefer most of my damage to be from a distance in the form of element reactions. Once you know the options and have a preference, then you are ready to pull. Else, you might spend a lot of primos on a character that's popular, but not suitable. nb. the good thing about Furina is, she's an assistant, and team damage amplifier, so no matter what kind of fighting you do, she'd be good. Other characters might be so niche that, if they don't suit your style, they're completely useless. /my opinion, for what it's worth.

hello !! :D i firstly just wanted to say that it's extremely theraputic to watch you experience this game for the first time as someone who is a long-time enjoyer. absolutely loving your content :) i'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit better ☆ i believe it has already been pointed out in this comment section, but just to emphasize: the little white stars that sometimes appear on the mini-map in the open world (like during 49:08 ✧) are the Anemoculi that you need to collect to upgrade the Statue of the Seven! it may sometimes requires a little puzzle, but collecting them is definitely worth it as it increases your stamina and gives some pretty good rewards! :D am highly looking forward to the next video :) have a good one x

Hey! It was a lovely surprise to get a message from you today. Sadly, I was busy with a very, very rare opportunity to play with my grown-up kid. They are obsessed with Final Fantasy and will not play anything else for a month. Furina is excellent character and she is a great addition to most any team. As for whether you need her now the answer has to be 'no'. We all made it over 3 years without her, after all. If you like her, wish. Don't be afraid to wish on the Limited Character banners unless you don't want the advertised character. No wish is lost until you get a 5-star. The Standard Banner 5-stars are more than good enough for adventuring and there are so many new 4-stars for you to meet.

It is always super exciting seeing a new player experience everything for the first time. And out of all the games I have played, this is probably one of the best mental-health wise due to the music and world environment. It just feels good. And the main story (Archon quests) become amazingly good as you progress further into the later regions. If you are interested, I compiled a list of additional tips and answers to some of the questions you were wondering about in the video. It is rather long, but it doesn't contain anything that will spoil the fun learning experience of the stuff you will still want to figure out for yourself: 1. For artifacts you will want to wear higher rank ones (number of stars) and with the stats you want. Use the lower rank ones to level up the higher rank ones. It is always worth to put whatever artifacts you have onto the characters you are using. If there is an exclamation point on "artifacts" in the menu on the character screen, that means you don't have an artifact of that type equipped. You will also want to equip the rank 2 and higher artifacts based upon their other stats, in addition to the set bonus. 2. If you complete the character trials you can trial the current banner characters and get resources to ascend them. For example, if you did Furina's trial, you will be provided the materials you need to have the ability to level her to 40 (once you get the experience for her that you need). You also get to experience a bunch of other characters. It is actually quite a good way to learn about various game combat mechanics. (Don't forget to open back up the character trial screen after you leave the trial to collect the rewards) 3. Pressing G brings up the tutorials, which describe the various elemental reactions and such. A new tutorial pops up the each time you encounter something new. 4. The E key is the elemental skill, Q is elemental burst 5. Those crystals on the weapon enhance screen can be used to enhance the weapons as well. You get those from chests, and you get quite a few. These will help get your weapons to max level faster. It is worth it to use them up on your primary character's weapon, since at lower levels you will get them faster than you get better weapons. 6. Press the enter key to bring up chat directly, instead of going to the friends page 7. You can also read all of the characters abilities from the character screen, under the talents tab 8. For charged attacks, you hold the left click (attack button) instead of just clicking it like you do for normal attacks (do it on Noelle, you will have fun). You will drain stamina doing this though, but the attacks are more powerful. 9. More about Furina: Her charge attack switches her to healing mode, but her summons no longer do damage in that mode. She can fill both of damage and healing roles, and both very well, and swap between them as needed during combat. Which is a major aspect why she is useful when you have very few characters. 10. On the menu screen there is an "achievements" button. You can collect primogems when you complete achievements 11. Make sure to always worship the statue when you have anemoculi. Increased stamina makes life so much easier. You can run and climb further and it gives you adventure rank exp and primogems. 12. Make sure to exchange the stardust for the wishes, you can only get 5 a month, and they are basically free since you get the stardust back when wishing. And this month ends in 2 days. Exchange the stardust for them before you lose out on the free wishes. 13. You can use the acquaint fates on the permanent banner (last banner on the list). They are separate from the limited banners that use intertwined fates. Also, primos are basically just wishes, as that is the only thing you will want to spend them on. And 1 genesis crystal = 1 primogem. Welkin is worth buying, it is effectively 3000 primogems over the course of a month, all you would need to do is log in once per day. You can immediately log back out without doing anything else if you weren't planning on playing, it just requires logging in to get the daily 90 primogems. I don't recommend buying the crystals, as it gets VERY expensive for very few wishes. Once the first time bonus is gone, the most expensive crystal pack only gives 50 wishes, and that is $100 USD.

There's an exclamation mark on the artifacts when the character isn't wearing anything on that slot.

Furina is a good character for late game but she is good for early game as well however there are a few problems for one har levelling up material is found in another nation which is the last Nation you go to so it can be very hard to level her up Second she is quite hard to build and it can take time But on the other hand she is good for exploration since she can walk on water She can buff you entire team most other supports can only buff One character but she can buff all Currently she is the best character in the game show it honestly depends if you like her design and stuff but in the end you should only pull for characters you like since you will play them more and have a better time e.g i play for meta while I also pull the characters I like I also like having and easy time in the game but some people may not be happy with just only pulling for meta so pull for her if you like her Also i tried adding you but i can't get you UID you mind telling me your UID? No one has mentioned this yet, but since your contemplating on buying the Welkin Moon (the £5 bit) make sure you log in at least once a day. This is because the daily rewards from it DO NOT roll over. So if you miss one, it's gone. Also, the section in the shop where you pay real money is the last section. It's the one I think you haven't checked because your face is covering it. LOL. But don't rush on buying gems. Just enjoy the game for now. If you do spend, the Welkin Moon and the Battle Pass (which is something you'll unlock soon) are the best bang for your buck, although they do encourage you to log in every day and do daily quests get the most out of them.

You're doing great for your first time playing. Keep at it! Just a few tips: 0) The blue-haired guy's name can be pronounced ZING-CHO. 1) Become familiar with your keyboard shortcuts. They pretty much allow you to do everything in the game. Press G to access Gameplay Tips. You should take the time to read and understand these tips. They will greatly enhance your understanding of the game. They also give you 1 Primogem each for reading them. 2) Each of your characters is aligned with an element: Pyro (fire), Hydro (water), Cryo (ice), Electro (electricity), Anemo (wind), Geo (rock/earth) and Dendro (wood/plants). You can check what element they are aligned with by pressing the C key to access the Character menu, and looking in the top left corner. It will state the character name and their element. Knowing that Xingqui is Hydro and Kaeya is Cryo allows you to deduce that if you hit an enemy with Xingqui's water skills and then Kaeya's ice skills, they will become Frozen. All of the elements mix in different ways to produce different reactions that can be used to your advantage to damage enemies, discover treasures, etc. 3) Each of your characters has an Elemental Skill (the E key) and an Elemental Burst (the Q key). Their Elemental Skill regenerates over a few seconds and doesn't require Energy to cast. On the other hand, their Elemental Burst uses Energy to cast. You can use their Burst again when the cooldown is over, as long as you have enough Energy to cast it again. You gain Energy from hitting enemies with your Normal, Charged and elemental attacks. You will notice Energy as small multicoloured balls that make a slight 'whoosh' sound as they enter you after you hit or kill enemies. 4) A Normal attack is when you just click your attack button. A Charged attack is when you HOLD your attack button. Each character has different Normal and Charged attacks - be sure to try them all so that you know the difference. You cannot use a Charged attack if you are out of Stamina. Also, each character's Elemental Skill (the E key) will produce a different effect if you just tap it, or if you HOLD it. 5) Each region in the world has Statues of the Seven. When you first touch those Statues (highlighted on your map with a big grey circle) they will light up the surrounding map. For each region in the world, you will find elemental-aligned Oculi floating about. They are shown on your map as a Star symbol when you get close to them. When you collect these, you can then go to the Statues of the Seven in that region and Offer those Oculi to the Statue. This will 'level up' the Statue, but that just means that you get some rewards from the Statue, as well as increasing your Stamina level. 6) Stamina is denoted by the small yellow half-moon bar shown near your character onscreen. When you are out of stamina, you cannot Dash/Run any more... you also cannot climb, swim, glide or use Charged attacks. So keep an eye on your Stamina so that you don't run out of it at inopportune times. Stamina regenerates when you stand still. There are plenty more tips but the above are the most important for now. Aye another play through! Glad you’re feeling better I wanna echo some stuff others have said about Furina but it’s not to discourage you from pulling her at all! Genshin is a game where you can play anyone and beat the story but there are some exceptions when you’re starting out. In case you do end up getting Furina: Furina is an amazing unit. She can do damage, heal, and buff all at once. But she’s really technical in the sense that you’ve got to have a good understanding of how to utilise teams and characters. The reason being is, Furina has two skills: Skill one: she summons three creatures that will do damage to enemies but will drain your entire teams health at the same time. To combat this mechanic, a healer is essential - luckily the game gives you a healer for free. So this leaves you with room for only two other characters on the team who can be whoever you like, basically Skill 2: summons a turret that can heal one character at a time and does no damage and does not apply any hydro. Furinas ultimate: can buff your whole party, and can max out that buff with a healer (basically, the more you heal after Furinas ultimate, the better the buff) Luckily, Genshin does bring back characters after a certain amount of months has passed, so if you’re not able to get Furina now, there will always be another chance! I’m sorry this is such a long comment aaa

Flurrina can walk on water

When u do the test run it always seems like the characters do a lot of dmg (its purpose is to sell the characters). Also, Bennett and Sayu are both healers. You can't play Furina without a good healer or your entire party will die.

artifacts has rarity shown with 1,2,3,4,5 stars. 1 and 2 star artifacts shouldn't be level up since it will be a short while you will be using them when u r low level. However, u can level up 3,4,5 stars to use when u get them later. The same go for weapons. As for limited characters, pull whoever u like. Your decision to pull shouldn't be influenced by other opinion. So pull whoever you like, pull if their gameplay style suit ur taste where u can test them in test run but keep in mind that some (new characters) will be hard to level up coz their materials to level up are in new region. So u can only level them up to 40 with the materials u get from doing test run of said characters. That's why, i suggest it is good if u do test run for every characters and make sure to claim the rewards later. As for starglitter and stardust, they are the currency u get from getting duplicate characters/weapons from wishing on the banners. U can exchange pink and blue wishes with them. However, i do suggest u only use star glitter for pink wishes. As for the stardust currency, u can exchange 5 of pink and blue wishes each every month since they do reset.

Btw Xingqiu’s name is pronounced as Shing-chou !

no save your wishes unless you intend to buy more with money but its expensive and every 80-90 wishes are a guaranteed 5-star but its a 50/50 on the first one and if you lose the next one will be the 5-star thats on the banner

If i were you i would not spend on furina,why- furina is very nice but don't get me wrong you don't need her right now i reccomend you get from leveling characters blue wishes, spend them on beginner banner and wait for another banners, pull for dps like ganyu,yelan,raiden,kazuha,xiao,zhongli,alhaitham
