@@beckham3533 Ahh yes. Honkai Impact. First few chapters had that joyful feeling amongst its characters. But everything changed after Himeko hmmmm... *PTSD intestifies*
Crazy to think how people are gonna keep visiting that same video until they finished the whole story. See you guys in 5 years! (EDIT: If I'm not mistaken recently, due to the insane success of genshin, they have extended the roadmap from 5 years to 10 years! There's gonna be so much more content it seems, which means possibly new world outside of Teyvat! So uh see you guys in 10 years!)
No man, Khaenri'ah sounds more like the vengeance type, like it's longing for acknowledgement, longing to be heard and accepted. Basically it's like the revenge type.
When you know about Kaeya is born at Khaenri'ah, and his father abandonned him and said to him "You are our last hope" ( or something like that ), so yeah, the music theme of Khaenri'ah sound like that. :D
Apparently, in one article it was stated that Genshin would take several years to complete (as in the full story) and the game will probably have a final size of 100+ GB
@@macrimallaby4280 By that time 100 GB games will be considered the norm. Some last-gen and next-gen games like FInal Fantasy VII or Cyberpunk are already close to 100GB without any patches.
Sumeru's archon is actually the youngest of all the Archons, him being only 500 years old and the oldest being Rex Lapis at the age of 6000+, Lisa also studied in the Sumeru Academy and was the most talented student in over 200 years
My personal vibes from this banger: - "We had no time to say goodbye, so lets not call it that." Aether speaks with the blonde at the end, perhaps telling his story of the travels he had in Teyvat. Act 0: The Beginning of the Beginning. - A somber bit, where Aether perhaps describes his travels with Lumine, the hint of happiness within it, as he remembers these fond memories of traveling worlds as if they were two comets shooting through the sky. Prologue: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind - Mondstadt -Venti sings of his travels with the Traveler, speaking of his accomplishments, taming Dvalin, or Stormterror as they are known in the vernacular. The "Hero's Journey" begins here, and the traveler's name travels across the land, as if it were flying through the wind itself. -The notes feel free to roam the piano, like how in Mondstadt the people are free to do as they please. Act 1: Farewell Archaic Lord - Liyue -Reminds me of night in Liyue, quiet, but with more action in the background if you look for it. -The Notes seem to be more orderly than in Mondstadt's tune, showing how the Archons have different ways of controlling the people Act 2: Omnipresence Over Mortals - Inazuma -It feels like I'm resting on a rooftop, and overlooking a lantern-lit city, hearing the muffled speach of street goers and music playing from musicians nearby. -The Melody is packed with notes going back and forth, like how electricity jumps. Act 3: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana - Sumeru -Melody reminds me of that one episode in The Avatar where there's a huge library in the middle of the desert -It gives off the feel of after one walks the desert for ages, he finally sees a port city full of people and personalities. Act 4: Masquerade of the Guilty - Fontaine -Reminds me of Murder Mystery novels. -The Images in my head of this place are a victorian city full of houses with glass domes, thunder cracks above as rain pours relentlessly. -Vibes make me think of a city filled with liars, cheaters, and deals in the darkness of alleyways. Act 5: Incandescent Ode of Ressurection - Natlan -Some sort of Spanish/South eastern influences in the music (I think? idk music history) - I feel as if the location of this act is set in a mountain range dotted with volcanos, dormant and active. Perhaps a huge volcano in the center or the mountain range is called "The Womb" / "Mother's Embrace" -A place of frequent battles, perhaps the Traveler joins in one of them? Act 6: Everwinter Without Mercy - Snezhnaya - A cold, harsh world, with nowhere to turn to. every child is drafted into the queens army, force to take on all foes, even perhaps, the divine. -Spikes of ice fill out most of the landscape, leaving little room for flora or fauna. -You constantly feel like you're being watched, as if someone from high above is always looking down at you, figuratively and literally. -The Melody makes itself known immediately to the listener, and never lets up. Act ###: The Dream Yet to Be Dreamed - Khaenri'ah -A endless white void. There's nothing left for you to do than to face the ones before you, and unbind the shackles of fate. Will you rescue 'Her' ? Are you even ready to do so? You will never know until you try. -The Music here carries the feel of Snezhnaya, where the pressure of an unbeatable foe still stands, before wrapping its way back to the beginning, returning the focus to you, and the fate you will weave on your Journey.
When it comes to Fontain I can clearly see some old Paris or London inspiration. European and distinguished but with a lot of schemes. As for Natlan, there's indeed some kind of tango like music, which is realted to Spain, and fire, so come the war theme. Snezhnaya theme is quite in the romantico-epic style of music, which stands for a great battle. Finally, Khaenri'ah has those major/minor variation that announces an end. I like your comment, very clever.
I think in act I, the narrator doesn’t refer to stormterror/dvalin, instead I think he meant ursa(notice how he said millennia), in the comics, they mentioned of a dragon that is terrorizing monstadt for hundreds of years.
Elements representation Anemo:Freedom Geo:Contracts Electro:Eternity Dendro:Wisdom Hydro:Justice Pyro:War Cryo:Love Khaen'riah's Power(it isn't an element):Vengeance Photo(the Traveler's Power): Hope Edit: nvm Khaenri'ah doesn't have an element. Base on dainsleif during the archon quest when finding the first field tiller after the traveler use elemental sight he can't see it cuz it's not powered dainsleif uses a power that's not an element at all
@@neros398Little is known about the Tsaritsa, but many of her followers are deeply devoted to her. Whether it is out of genuine faith or fear is unclear, but Tartaglia's dedication to her is at least real: he describes her as "a gentle soul. Too gentle, in fact, and that's why she had to harden herself." He also says that her actions, while having seemingly engulfed the world in war, are meant to bring about peace.[1] His character stories also describe her as a "true warrior." An incident 500 years ago left her deeply embittered and changed.[2] Whatever happened back then, Venti drew her ire; she has Signora attack and steal his Gnosis without warning, which is a stark contrast compared to the way she negotiates with Zhongli for his. While talking about the kites that represent The Seven, Zhongli doesn't ascribe a trait to her like he does with the other Archons; he begins saying "as does that which the Cryo Archon once..." before trailing off with a sigh.[3] This suggests that whatever trait he was about to say, she no longer possesses.
Whats cool to me is that both the monstadt and liyue soundtracks in the video are similar to the ones of the cities. So the music shown in all areas might be the same as the upcoming region city ost.
I really hope they release all the background music from trailers and character demos officially :< they’re my favorite parts of the soundtrack and I just wanna be able to stream them 24/7
okay wait wait I need to point something out hence your comment omg- notice how Aethers facial expression was pretty normal I guess you can say in the beginning and thennnn at the end it’s very sad like I guess you could say? so uhm yeah😀
I agree, Mondstadt is alredy so nostalgic. "Farewell, Archaic Lord" also gives me some nostalgic feelings, and we still haven't reach Inazuma región! :(
@@RedxCarmine I know, right? Unlike Zhongli and Venti, they seem to want to gain more power by different ways, instead of wishing such great good to his people, as is the case of the first two archons. But, who knows? Maybe they're also nice people. U.u
I hope they really show how strong of a bond Aether and his sister might have. If we’re gonna have to kill her, it will shatter us completely. Same goes for Paimon, or maybe we already adore her so much that when something does happen to her, it’d break our heart. Can’t wait to see the rest of the story.
personally thought liyue was the best, its like a sweet yet bitter farewell to an old friend the introduction and end are really amazing tho, having a calm, yet sad tune to it at the start but in the end, there's like a certain feeling that almost all hope is lost
"We had no time to say goodbye, so let's not call it that". The war has already begun. It is just a continuation of past battles. The gods goad us on with the promise of their seven treasures. Rewards for the worthy. The doorway to divinity. Yet buried in the depths of this world lies smoldering remains, a warning to those that dare trespass. "That throne in the sky is not reserved for you" But mortal arrogation never stops. None will escape the flames. See for yourself. ACT Prologue The dragon who defended Mondstadt for a millennium finally faces his perturbation. What does freedom really mean, when demanded of you by a god? ACT 1 The God of Contracts, senselessly slaughtered as his people watched on in horror. In the end, he will sign the contract to end all contracts. ACT 2 In the secluded land of the immortal Shogun, the Bakufu rules eternal. But what do mortals see of the eternity chased after by their god? ACT 3 The God of Wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself, and the oasis of knowledge is a mirage in the desert of ignorance. In the city of scholars there is a push for folly, yet the God of Wisdom makes no argument against it. ACT 4 The God of Justice lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods. But even she knows not to make an enemy of the divine. The rules of war are woven in the womb: the victors shall burn bright, while the losers must turn to ash. ACT 5 When the God of War shares this secret with the Traveler, it is because she has her reasons. ACT 6 She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her. Her followers hope only to be on her side when the day of her rebellion against the divine comes at last. ACT [UNKNOWN] In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live, and not to dream. But in the hidden corners where the gods' gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming. Some say a few are chosen and the rest are dregs, but I say we humans have our humanity. We will defy this world with a power from beyond. Now, you who has set foot in this world. Your journey has reached its end, but one final doorway remains. Step forth, if you have understood the meaning of your journey. Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her. Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave. - My memory has all but faded completely... But I will always remember how much she too, loved these flowers.
"We have no time to say goodbye, so let's not call it that. " Why I have a feeling that this is the line that protagonist will say to his twin at the end of the journey...?
what this sounds like to me: intro: lonely, but thoughtful and hopeful mondstadt: free, brave, and herotic liyue: relaxed, released from heavy burdens, and casual inazuma: distanced and closed-off, but elegant sumeru: knowledgeable, but wise and sturdy fontaine: mysterious, but delicate and wondrous natlan: powerful and strong, but serious snezhnaya: cold and harsh, but sorrowfully unemotional khaenri'ah: nostalgic and somber, left with little hope
Events that might happen Monstadt - Fatui shenanigans and Dragon lul Liyue - Fatui shenanigans 2: electric boogaloo Inazuma - Revolution, taking down a merciless archon and more Fatui shenanigans Sumeru - Abyss order being more open at attacks and shenaniganus Fatui Fontaine - We finna get arrested, and Guess who's back? Back again? Natlan - Day of the dead and preparation for war Snezhnaya - the final war Khaenri'ah - _ya like jazz?_
Mondstadt: Save a lost dragon who thought himself was abandoned for eternity. Liyue: Understand their Archon's purpose and sort of help him retire by protecting against the forces planned by him as a testament to Liyue. Inazuma: Save the nation and lonely Archon from the manipulated Archon tyrant herself and the corruption of its own people. Sumeru: Save the nation and the abused Archon from the greedy officials. Fontaine: Save the nation and the Archon from an upcoming calamity that will drown all of them. Coming soon... Natlan: Stop an eternal war waged by mortals? Snezhnaya: Help their Archon rebel the greater divine beings? Khaenri'ah: Literally save their nation?
I listen to this every day but I forget to comment that... I love to listen your piano ver. more than official PV. Thank you for play this wonderful piano ver. I really love it.
Fontaine reminds me of Paris, or even any place in Europe. I think it'd go like the spectacle went wrong or something and then the two who were in charge of it blame it on traveler or something
I get vibes of dark streets and corners, as the traveler walks through and looks around seeing silhouettes of criminal deals, murder, and overall mystery. the fontaine theme intrigues me the most.
Natlan one is my favorite, but Monstadt and Liyue make me very emotional since already knowing their story mostly This trailer truly made me excited for the story! Thank you for the piano version!
Well we do know that the traveller has already travelled through many worlds so he might continue onto the next. And also why he is travelling the reason is unknown so we will have to see
Yep there are a lot of theories that the chapter after sheznaya is the city that was destroyed by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principle etc. 500 years ago.
JUST REALIZED BUT FONTAINE4S THEME IS REAAALLLYYYY SIMILAR TO SAINT-SAËNS AUQARIUM SO FONTAINE IS FRANCE ? and fontaine is like the french word for fontain lmao
the fontaine theme paints a picture in my mind of the traveler walking alone at night, while it’s raining, looking to his sides and seeing silhouettes of people staring at him, criminal deals going down, and people getting murdered. It sounds mysterious and with dark undertones.
Mondstadt: Germany Liyue: China Inazuma: Japan Sumeru : Sumerian Fontaine: French Natlan: tribal Aztec Snezhnaya: Uni Soviet Kaen'riah: Atlantis?/Nordic?
@@tiredaster1aa It is mixed of Middle Eastern/Egypt and India. The desert for sure is egypt with some ruins and the rainforest has some indian stuff and the capital city has both with predominant Sumeria and other things from middle east to give that ancient but smart vibes. You have Cyno wearing a jackal outfit that is obviously Anubis so it is mixed. Can't wait for it tho. My most hyped nation so far.
3:31 was the part that i got goosebumps... it sounds so emotional and it gives that vibe of sadness and beaty... i really hope these sort of piano songs will come more commonly because that would be wonderful!!! :')
To you 10 years from now: How's Genshin? Is the game still alive? Any fun memories? We currently only have three regions right now. How many was there by the end of the game? I hope you had fun playing this beautiful game.
This is the best theatrical song I ever heard this year, and you really got it darn perfect! Your arrangement gave me the same chills i got from the trailer.
I had to convince my parents to buy me an iPad for "University" when in reality, I needed it for Genshin. I'm sorry mom, dad. I can't dip into my tuition budget.

I just noticed something with this, for the Prologue and Act I, it was transitioned in, yet for Acts II, III, and IV, it has no transition, just a small pause and then the next region of Teyvat. But then Acts IV and V transition into each other as well as act VI and The Dream Yet to Be Dreamed. What if the pauses means that the nation will come separately and the transitions means that they will be coming together, like how Mondstadt and Liyue transitioned into each other as well as how they released with each other. If this is correct and the transitions DO mean that the regions will be together, that means we will have the regions come as this: Mondstadt and Liyue Inazuma Sumeru Fontaine & Natlan Snezhnaya & Khanneri'ah Very interesting.
We could say the melody gets darker for each Arc then the encounter feels depressing, rotten. If we look at the story it’s getting darker too and I think from Fontaine onwards it’ll turn really crazy and dark
