Genshin Impact's Greatest Glitch Returns! Photo Mode Bug of 3.2 

I remember when people were using this to do stuff like looking inside Mona’s house lmao

For those wondering, it's POSSIBLE to bypass the Inazuma barrier and go there before the archon quest, you just need pacient because It requires a lot of height, there's a storm as soon as you aproach ritou but no other barrier that teleports you away, in my case. I just walked until i was on top of the first island and went down just yo feel the relief to be here at AR15. Good luck everyone trying this!

There's an elevator in The Chasm without a obstacle overhead, I use it for glitches since chasm came out, including the "photo mode".

this is such a fun glitch! i was able to send my friend flying across the ocean to inazuma from liyue, which makes me wonder if it could be used as an easier way to get there before you're supposed to

Thank you so much! I've been trying to keep my NA account cursed by only activating 3 Mondstant statues, which leads to no story progression = no Inazuma. Now with this, I can finally get to Inazuma. Really excited to try it out, I'll keep you updated if I make it ToT!

For anyone who wants to do this glitch in 3.3 and above: (IMPORTANT: This has been patched in Version 3.6) Enter photomode and make a pose. Quickly leave photomode as soon as you start the pose and input a dive (Press forward and jump); this input will be buffered until your character finished returning to their Idle pose, even when already back in photomode. Re-enter photomode and make a pose as the dive starts. You did it. Have fun!

Btw I figured out that you can actually do this glitch when u go under the water from the mondstadt bridge. When you are hovering down into the water, in order to keep going down, u have to spam press the elemental skill of your character.

Still works as of 1/19/2023. You have to queue the commands fast. Enter photo mode, strike a pose other than standing, mash exit, dive, reopen photo mode and strike another pose. Do all of this in one swift continuous set of button presses without waiting for the animations to actually happen, like you are inputting a move for a fighting game. As long as you trigger the second pose during any point in the dive animation, it will work. If you hit water, though, the swim animation can override the glitch. Tip: The higher up you are the more time you have to interrupt the dive animation to trigger the glitch. I hope this helps people that are struggling to get it working! And for those wondering, yes, you can use this to get to Inazuma early!

Seems the "fix" was to make it so that characters in idle animation are no longer able to directly initiate a dive, which forces them to jump normally, thus preventing the process of activating the bug theoretically impossible. But as Harixsia pointed out, the bug isn't actually fixed at all, and as long as you can initiate some sort of animation "queue" and interrupt it, it should work about the same. So until there's a good way to force this queue with longer animations, it'll remain difficult to perform and much less useful. This might've just been my own error, but I think they managed to remove it's ability to go through water, further nerfing it. Edit: I was wrong about the water, although I'm not sure if there's inconsistencies between regions. When I tried at Wangshu Inn, it just wouldn't let me, but at a random dock in Sumeru it was fine.

I think you should have more explicitly mentioned pressing the jump button to dive during the idle animation before entering photo mode because I was confused for a long while how to actually do it. It seems like trying to jump to dive during an idle animation will delay the dive until the animation finishes.

Flying in a plane? _Nah..._ Flying on a swingset? _Heck ya!_

Honestly I'm using this bug to get into dvalin domain without taking off the anemo wall on my second account, and tomorrow I'll test if i can bypass Inazuma's barrier by going very far off the sky

I used this glitch when I first caught wind of it to send my friend to Inazuma nice n early. Took a lot of tries with Keqing teleport.

other than a freecam they REALLY need to allow to finally use the camera in domains like it kills me sure im there to grind or progress the main story/event story but i want to take nice pictures of these maybe once in a "lifetime" places.

Thanks man, this enabled me to get on top of King Deshret's Mausoleum without doing the quest. I tried going up there with parkouring but I couldn't find a proper route.

Unfortunately, the glitch doesn't work for me: my character returns to normal the instant it touches anything, so a slope doesn't make me levitate

Would it be possible to break through the Inazuma storm barrier using this glitch? I'm not exactly sure how you would do it, but it would be interesting to see

I did pass the maps range during 2.8 islands when i thought i saw some islands far off but then i realised they just made an image of islands existing far away from GAA ToT. And there i thought i would actually reach somewhere but when i checked my map i was out of the range lmao

I tried this in Enkanomiya. It works.. and the cavern walls are so far out of bounds that you can walk right through..

So glad you tried and showed what happens if you go to thunder manifestation boss w/o completing the quest. Saved me the heartache of trying on my WL1 side-account. Was able to use this glitch to unlock inazuma for that account though ^.^ I do not remember, but is water hypostasis, locked behind a quest?

You can also use your summon ship to have more time in the air, or push you down under the water.

So sad, I've been trying to so this glitch for like an hour now and I can't get it right ;-; It's taking too long to choose the pose once the camera is on, and I fall into water before I can do that. And I also don't really know how the idle animation works, I don't think I'm doing it in the correct order Also, idk if this is a PC thing, but the shortcut wheel isn't exactly a shortcut, it takes the same amount of time xd

Moosashi, the idle animation explanation was kinda confusing and hard to do without the footage, do you mind explaining how to do it, since from my testing, it seems no different to just jumping off and entering photo mode.

Is chasm in the same map as enkanomiya? I remember seeing somone in chasm seeing an enkanomiya quest pointer. Is it possible to go from chasm to enkanomiya or the other way arround?

Still working, just got into Inazuma on my alt account while I am in the middle of the "We will be reunited" quest. I got a little nervous when I started getting close to the water since I took like 2h to get the glitch working. But I ended up walking through the water and the slope made me elevate.

As you may know, some teleport points are first underwater, is that possible to unlock them without removing the water, thanks to this glitch ? If so, woult the teleport bump you straight to the surface or keep you underwater ?

I think this might have been patched. It seems to me that there's no way to make a "queue", because I can't press anything before actually ending the pose or idle animation. Any solutions?

Is it possible you could use this to cross the infamous trench while remaining underwater using the last part you showed? Could you just go above the trench itself and cancel the glitch when you reach the other side to walk right into Inazuma?

How do you switch the pose immediately? My game doesn't react to f2 or clicks there for a second after opening photo mode, so by the time I get to pose selection, my character touches water.

I'm too lazy to do quests to unlock the underwater waypoint and domain at sumeru so i use this glitch to open it lol. It works well btw ;) but need to hurry bfr the glitch got patch

I did this glitch just now and the paimon barrier managed to TP me back. I'm not sure if i did something wrong, if i went to high or something, but it got ahold of me and spit me back out in springvale

Finally a glitch that I can try

Has this bug been fixed already (as of 20.11.2022)? I cannot switch animations fast enough when jumping from cliffs (and characters just don't start plunging animations if a cliff is too high), idle animation doesn't work as well because changing it to "standing" does nothing unlike this video.

I want a drone gadget now.

I must be stupid because I can't do it properly... It's incredibly difficult for me to position the character to make them dive to begin with, if I'm off even by a hair they just jump in place. Then, if I manage to get to that step, when I choose the standing pose, the character doesn't start the dive, I have to switch between the poses several times for that to happen. And since that's what determines the speed of falling, the character falls into the water almost immediately after exiting the photo mode 😔

I was thinking that Mihoyo should make the map like the earth, i mean when the map is complete, so when we come to the north that we go too far, we will be on Inazuma because the eartch is a kind of round so it is Legic

I have absolutely no idea how to do it with idle animation. The instructions were a bit unclear

I'm trying that but... when I'm in idol animation, pressing jump immediately stops aimation and character doesn't even go to dive, just jumps on spot, also there's no way in hell that i could press any pose until the character is already in water, it still do a pose but when I press standing, it starts swimming and stops camera mode...

Could this be done to go to Inazuma even before getting Geo traveler?
