Ei as Beelzebub and Makoto as Baal. Makoto is the main ruler and Ei was the shadow, until Makoto died and Ei had to take up her sister's place. To the people of Inazuma, Raiden Shogun and Baal means the same things. - Ei is the one who stood in the shadows, purging all enemies of Inazuma. Makoto is the gentle one who stood in the light and took care of her subjects. Most Inazuman people don't know this. - Makoto died in the war against Khaenriah. We now have two original archons confirmed to be casualties of the Cataclysm, the og Archon of Sumeru and the og Archon of Inazuma. - Ei was theorized to have been in love with the previous Tengu General, Sasayuri. - Sasayuri died in the battle against Orobashi - Chiyo was an Oni who was consumed during the Cataclysm by a Beast of Sin and escaped by slashing through the stomach - Chiyo was corrupted and turned against Ei. She lost a horn and one of her arms in the process, retreating to a forest. She is presumably dead - The Kitsune sacrificed herself in the Cataclysm to cleanse the island of filth and miasma. She was later reincarnated as a filth in one of the story quests.

The Dialogue is different if you never participated on the 1.1 Event. Here You already know each other, but If you never participated on the 1.1 Event you get a the different Dialogue and also an Introduction to His Character.

Imagine playing Genshin and encountering Fate-style powers there in the form of Baal's Reality Marble.

Seeing Scaramouche's backstory, his words make more sense. Especially his views on human mortality and his definition of power.

Plot twist: Scaramouche is one of the three supposed to be baal puppet, However it's powers were cruel so baal's sealed it and then the fatui stole it and modify it to unsealed its powers, that's why we have scaramouche, which means he is powerful as Ei, even yae miko don't bother challenging him instead giving the gnosis...

just watched this after genshin impact posted Wanderer's (p.k.a. Scaramouche) drip marketing. goodluck to those who will pull for him!

For some reasons baal's story is like EMIYA from fsn they are too stubborn, they don't want to lose anything and then all that's left is an empty shell of the dream they want to achieve. They are the shadow of their ideals.That was clearly reflected by their inner world. For EMIYA that's where he ended his life Unlimited Blades Works. In a hill full of swords with gears spinning forever reflecting his life after death, just a killing machine, a sword used to correct human mistakes. And For Ei or Baal it's an empty, desolate world where she isolates herself in the hope of achieving immortality and giving up everything. They are all alone with their own twisted ideals only to end up in that loneliness

So, Scaramouche is the 6th of the Fatui Harbingers, meaning there are still 3 Harbingers we haven't met that are inferior to him (Childe was the 11th, and Signora was the 8th). So, that inevitable battle in the future is going to be scary af taking into account what we've seen Signora and Childe do.

I was a little disappointed that Yae didnt pull a Galadriel on Scaramouche. Would have been epic to see a blast of light that sends Scaramouche flying to the walls just before the MC totally passed out. Too bad Yae simply handed over the gnosis in exchange of MC's safety

Scaramouches voice actor in English is god tier

For all those people salty about Yae not fighting him, he is stronger than the Raiden puppet, and probably as strong as the Ei you fight on the plane of Euthymia because that's after she gave up her gnosis. He will hit like a truck. Idk why he was stupid enough to let Yae and the traveler live at this point he could prolly 1v2 them

Scaramouche is so lucky that Yae showed up . I am pretty sure that if there were no friends showing up for Aether , Lumine would show up out of thin air just like she did to save the Abyss Herald . In contrary with Dainsleif , her "enemy" , I don't think she would show any mercy to Scaramouche , though . I think it's pretty clear that Lumine is watching over Aether's journey from all the quests we have seen so far

But Baal is her twin who died in khaenriah war and also baal is the old electro archon before ei Raiden Shogun we know rn is named Ei CMIIW
