Venti and Istaroth canonically were worshipped together before she was forgotten, so they likely at least knew each other (though I like the idea that venti is a creation of Istaroth)!

Ngl. Not to be rude but Venti and Istaroth are intimately related. Meaning they could be family rather than just friends. And Istaroth created the thousands winds. And what is venti? 'A wisp among the thousands winds'. Plus, there is a lot to venti than what is said/written since he is by far the most suspicious archon since he doesn't directly say anything regarding celestia or Istaroth. But hey it's just a *theory.* A *GAME* theory!
