For sure, Mihoyo-wise, they knew about all this. Architecturally speaking, the squeaking comes when base boards nailed down to structural frame and vanity board used to mask the nails rub against each other. It's been around long enough to make me say, it's not certain if this was intentional or just a cover story trying to conceal the architectural goof. Some clan was said to have trained their retainers and employees (=civilian servants) to squeak the floor in certain rhythm so they can ID any outsiders.
I've been online long enough to have "staying anonymous" as my basic mode of operation. Besides, I am a "player character of mmoRPG (Mabinogi, if you're curious)" so it doesn't sound like good role play to use my own natural voice. And I don't have enough guts to do so like Chaika or Itoh Life (hint hint)
