Gent gives a Tripods ALGS Update 

Nick introduced so many of us to Gent, I think I’ve been subbed for over 2 years in the Nessie gang and that’s never gonna change. I’m not that into WZ anymore so I’ll always be tuning in to support you and Deeds whether ya’ll stay together or go your separate ways. Apex is temporary but Denim is forever

when one of your teammates hasn’t touched the game after the most meta altering update in the past 2 years that’s a sign if I’ve ever seen one

Saw this coming from a mile away, everyone did. Why Nick didnt announce this earlier and kept it real is beyond me. I felt like deeds and gent were in a trap and when your IGL doesnt play thats another issue in itself

I honestly think it’s for the best. I love Nick but it was clear he wasn’t in it anymore. Even before this he was taking breaks from the game, then jumping back in a day or two before a tournament. That’s not gonna cut it when these other teams are doing nothing but grinding. Wasn’t fair to you or Deeds. Even if you guys didnt vocalize it publicly, I know that must be frustrating. You guys are gonna kill it going forward.

You know I got nothing but love for y’all gent I show love on every video and would stick up for Nick all the time but he was holding y’all back. He wasn’t bad but he just wasn’t up to par with y’all and you deserve to be on a team that carry’s it’s own weight rather than you being the glue. Nick got me into apex and honestly all I’ve wanted to watch is y’all compete. Hate to see him go but whether it is chal or PL I’ll be tuning in to the streams and VODs wherever the road leads ya. Ever since he got on kick I watch the vods on your end because kick sucks so bad lol. There is nothing more entertaining than the tripods playing in these tourneys and scrims!

I've seen this coming to. I think everyone has to understand that Nick has already been through the competitive stuff. I don't think he has the passion anymore. Especially now that he has a child. His focus is now on his kid, then gaming.

Tripods might not have gotten to the big league but you guys were always one of the most fun teams to watch. Hopefully you and Deeds carry on as the bipods but I'll still support both of you whatever happens o7

I loved watching Tripods and NeckMercs. But i will also say i think its for the better and you guys will come out on top. Cant be a PL team when your least talented player constantly takes breaks from the game.

I said this a couple weeks ago and you said keep that energy. Nick was NOT good enough for you 2. Y'all put a lot of time and effort into being successful in apex and Nick wasn't on that level. Hes not that good at apex which is why he left. He realized he wasn't going to be anywhere near Hal, you, panderz all the other top controller players. Appreciate him bringing more people to apex though. He kind of saved the game viewership wise which most likely helped player counts. Glad you guys can finally move on and get a good teammate

yeah ive been saying since they didnt even make it to lan that nick doesnt care. he had this attitude that only someone like Hal can have, and not even he has it. this attitude or mentality that he could get knocked further and further out of the competition and play less and less. every time they got knocked out, hes piss off to have fun. mate, you have a job to do. stop being a spoiled bratty teenager, grow up and get shit done. dont do the bare minimum and then whine and moan about it. getting all stroppy at the end of the tourney as if you didnt directly cause your own lack of ability when playing. pure signs of someone who made it already so doesnt actually care, he just simply found it fun. treated it like its warzone with the boys

I met you through Nick and got only love for you too! Tbh people that have been watching constantly I believe understand this change. The energy of the boys is strong but damn you Gent and Deeds did feel held back by Nick. In Nick's defense he's got it but that IT factor in him for apex isn't polished enough. Nick doesn't play and he s competing against people that play non stop daily. No matter how good he is people hot of the press will perform better. If Nick took Adderall while playing Apex I bet he would perform 1000% better lol. He's having fun on war zone and God I'm so happy to see him happy playing for hours with Tim and cloakzy. Nick's hard to argue with too I can imagine scenarios where he'd say "Ive got too much important stuff going on" when told to play more but tbh I think he felt lonely grinding apex by himself so he wouldn't. Regardless watching the journey has been so fun. Every time Tripods won it made my day

Gent is one of the most underrated players in apex history, maybe even the most underrated roller player. Even back when he played for G2 he was probably the best player on that team. I hope Teq picks him up that’d be one crazy team tbh
