I just watched both your videos on this generator. I own one myself, and love it so far. Great videos, you used very clear and instructional language, and were to the point. Refreshing and enjoyable. Thank you for the effort you put into these.
Thank you for sharing. I have this exact model. Never had to run it. But after watching your 3 videos on it, I'm going to get it going and on a regular schedule.
Great job explaining all this. I have one of these and love it! They do make a clear skirt you can order to replace the solid color one over your outlets. This cover is great as you explained. Have a great day and thanks for the nice video!
Have the same generator. Watched your two videos about this generator which are excellent. After a few years, the automatic start "on" button no longer works so I have to use the pull start cord instead. Any idea why the press button no longer starts the generator and what to do about it?
True. When I first saw the price, I was like, "Forget that I'll just make something." But then when I looked at what I would need and contemplated how well it would even work and not get blown apart, I just decided to pay the man.
Would it be better if it was 2x4s, PVC pipe, and a bundle of shingles? Kidding aside, it takes very little storage space when in the box, which is great because I don't have a lot of room. But when it's assembled and attached, it's super strong and does exactly what it's supposed to do. When I thought about making something myself, it would have been bigger, harder to store, and probably wouldn't have worked as well anyway. If you have a better solution that works for you, go for it.
can the extra short cover be used as well o further protect the generator where the pull rope is and the back side. During a driving rain or snow those areas will be drenched. The exhaust side is ok as is.
