Adventure Skyway Cable Car Riding Genting Highlands Up to Down Malaysia
Enjoy the crisp mountain air as you make your way up to Resorts World Genting Highland on the new Awana SkyWay. It takes just 10 minutes to ascend from Awana Station to the final stop, Sky Avenue Station. The area is run by Genting group (business operation). Genting highland is a popular tourist destination in Malaysia playing big role in tourism.
Whether you are on your way up or down the mountain, you would not want to miss the stop at the midway point where you can disembark at the Chin Swee station at no extra cost and explore the Chin Swee Caves Temple and its scenic surroundings.
Remember to keep your cable car ticket as you can use the same ticket to continue your journey either to the peak or to the Awana Station. The Genting skyway gondolas fly over key attractions at the resort, giving passengers a bird’s eye view of the surroundings including the site of the highly anticipated Twentieth Century Fox World Malaysia. For a more adventurous & spooky experience, try the glass-floor gondola ride. A breathtaking view of the 130-million-year-old rainforest below waits.
To reduce waiting time, new Genting skyway (Awana SkyWay) has a top speed of 6 metres per second, and is able to carry 3,000 passengers one way every hour. The 99 standard gondolas have wheels and 10 glass-floor gondolas can seat 10 and six passengers respectively.
