Thank you thank you. You have inspired my new slow stitch project. Making fabric journals (I love making elaborate junk journals) for children who come to visit with their mum. Each page will have a pocket house or tree or garden and make your darling angel, dog, cat, girl boy, troll, fairy and flowers so they can play and take a gift home. Today I'm starting a forest journal with our local forest creatures. Gratitude, love, hugs and giggles from Gold Beach Oregon.

What a delight to spend this gentle time with you at your cozy desk, creating away. ❤😊 That eyeshadow turned watercolor palette is so cool, definitely adding that to my (long) list of must-try things to do! Your pages turned out lovely with the beautiful images and words combined with the shiny paints. Freddie’s crunching is the perfect ASMR! Amy thank you so much for spending this time with us 🐾🧚🏼 I had the eyeshadow on my list ( that’s in my mind ) ! for so long, it’s only cos I asked Sam for the binder for Christmas. It feels so soothing to make. The colours are very earthy too. Happy journaling 🩵🌳❤️

Thank you so much Linda, yes whatever season we are in It’s always lovely to watch and create a nature scene 🍂🍁 🌳 Yes I was surprised at how shiny the Metallic eye shadow paint turned out. I looked up the makeup and it wasn’t an expensive one ( it had a lot of pigment in it ) Have a lovely creative week. 🩵

Wow your papers (dried in the sun) turned out amazingly! Such detail in all of them. Why am I not surprise that you're re-using the colored water? That's such a hoot. GREAT idea of "if you don't have a garden, do some gardening in your journal"...sort of like a "dream board" if you don't have a garden and would like one, create one/some mentally and in your journals and soon enough, you'll see a garden in your reality. The universe is a magical place that way 💫 Brilliant to turn the make up into watercolors. LOVE it! Awwwwwwww, those big Freddie eyes, look into them and see forever love. What a sweetheart (the baby goats were nearly too much, sooooo cute!!!)

lovely spread again. i was a gentle listener today, as i was eating my dinner! but earlier today i had an art journaling class(free! on Michael's site which is an art store here) and it was a ton of fun! spent the hour playing with watercolour and doodling on top 😊 im definitely going to rip some paper out on my deck now! weather is lovely today so im going to take advantage of it. hope all is well with you janet!😊 im doing quite alright myself. sending much love and little mosaic hearts 💘

Thank you so much Cheryl. We decided for our first try to buy the binder it is basically, gum Arabic, honey and oil of cloves. We are pleased with the results, the eyeshadow has a lot of pigment, ( I picked it up abandoned on the street ) we looked it up and it’s on a cheep set. Have fun creating. 🩵

Hi Janet, lovely video and such fun to watch! I have one journal thats just for me to experiment in. I put in a variety of things, whether they turn out as i hope or not. Its still fun and all a part of the process. I allso add poems or saying that touch me.....anything i want really. Doris thank you so much for your lovely encouraging words. We got the water colour binder on Etsy. It is made up of gum arabic, honey and oil of cloves, the honey makes it so rich. You can buy all these items separately ( gum arabic from an art shop, honey and the oil of cloves from a chemist. We decided to go for the pre-made as beginner’s. I hope this helps ?
