Gentleness embodies the story of Jesus’ ministry so well. One could say that Jesus’ ministry *was* gentleness and I can say with absolute certainty that the Father has been nothing but gentle with me, even when I’m being challenged and redirected. I have never found anything but pure, unbridled, unconditional, limitless love in the presence of God. There has never been shame or anger, no matter what I bring to him. He loves his creation and we are called to love in that way as well. Jesus says in Matthew 5 (paraphrased) You have heard the law that says “love your neighbor” and then you hate your enemy, but I say love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you. I was taught a very good practice for living this out. Whenever I have a negative or judgmental or unloving thought towards someone, I pray “bless them and change me.” May we all become more and more like Jesus and bring the peace of God to this Earth. Amen

Been trying to be physically gentle in movements. Setting thing slowly and shutting door silently. Interesting people that are angry and fearful seem to slam and throw without care.
