I guess it doesnt matter that the fake one has no manual on how to insert the phone since you clearly cant follow the manual on the original one.

Do you have the silicone case review?

I buy the fake silicone ones and they are made really well- it’s all exactly the same quality except you’re not paying far too much for plastic. I also get 3rd party Apple Watch straps and the silicone one is basically identical except for not having sizing on the band and at quarter price. All this stuff is made in the same place by the same people with the same materials... designer and brand these days is literally just a scam these days (I’m not referring to the actual tech, that’s something I can’t comment on. Also you clip top corners in first then down the sides then the bottom corners to avoid damage to buttons and switches.

It’s probably not PU. More likely it’s dog leather. Which is cheaper than plastic. Thanks for the informative comparison.

I ordered the fake one for 2 dollars and 30 cents from eBay. And I got the real one. He said authentic too.

The original cases have the patented heat dissipation (inside material), while the fakes don't have it. So, you might not notice any difference initially, but if you phone - and this can happen sometimes - get's really hot, you might have a disadvantage for the longevity of certain parts, like the battery!

My past experience on 6th iPhone with fake one is volume buttons are hard to push. Fake up leather Midnight blue and its Apple logo looks ugly. Better stick with genuine leather and take pride in your product instead of putting something fake on your good investment device.

I've tried the Apple Leather case, recently on my iPhone 6, which is now a year old. However, it looked "bulgy," at the bottom corners and the same was true of a replacement I exchanged it for at the Apple Store. I know the difference in size between the 6 and 6s is "negligible," but maybe that's it? Anyhow, having taken the replacement back for a full refund, I bought a "fake," one from eBay for about £6. When it arrived, it actually looked much better on the phone than the official Apple case. However, I noticed, after a while that the cut out for the camera was nowhere near as large as on other cases and the plastic "rim," around the cut out was "jagged," which brought me here, but I couldn't see whether your camera cut out was any different from the original? To be honest, finding the "perfect," case for the iPhone 6 has been a real saga and I'm wondering whether I'd be better off ditching it and buying a cheap throwaway phone and not bother with cases, or downgrading to the new iPhone SE, which has the same dimensions as the 5/5s, for which, I've seen loads of really smart, form fitting cases!

They look the same to me. I have a fake one and it feels great, but I don't think it will last a year. So the real question is: how long will the genuine one last? A year? Four years? Ten years? Six months? Anyone has had a genuine one for that long?

I bought 3 of these because of the $5 price tag and I must say apple is better. I dropped my phone a few times around the house and it was fine. One drop outside and the case cracked the bottom right screen right on the corner! And the leather my feel good and has a great grip but it rips like cheap leather ikea couch over time. Lmao. It's Good to have if u don't drop or beat up your phone/ switch up/ or to have as a back up.

The price of the casing should be increased. I see more and more people having the Apple Case and this should not be happening. It's supposed to be something prestigious, something that separates the rich from the poor
