The world population is growing more than expected and could exceed 11 billion people by 2100. Urban areas are beginning to be used to meet the demand for food and the need to produce healthy and fresh food.
GREENDOMO is an R+D innovation project that arises from this need and aims to create structures for sustainable high-yield crops growing in urban areas to bring products closer to the place of consumption and significantly reducing transport, storage times and costs.
It is expected to be completed and put into production in September 2020.
This R+D project is organized by Novagric (Novedades Agricolas, S.A.), in association with ALARCONTROL SL, Induser and Polímeros Gestión Industrial, with the collaboration of Centro Tecnológico Tecnova.
Project financed with public aids of the State Program of Investigation, Development and Oriented Innovation to the Challenges of the Society within the framework of the State Plan of Scientific and Technical Investigation and of Innovation 2017-2020.
