Hello sir, very good explanation, thank you very much. I want to ask something. If you do this operation, will you get a monthly return that you can put in your bank account?
Hi! All the crypto you earn you can sell and convert to dollar, euro or any fiat you want. Then simply make a withdraw to your bank account. So yes it works
Hi Nordic Crypto! Thanks for you nice videos, those realy helps to newby and the professionals as well. I have some questions that not clear for me, and haven't found the answeres. Could you tell me how devices deployed in the same hex get the 48 coisn per day? Just the first one or 3 devices, or... Everywhere I can read about superhex, but what about a simple hexes? So if there are 3 miners in one "simple" hex, what is the rewenue for them? Thanx!
Hi there! Thank you for your comment & a great question. All standard miners within a "resolution 5" Hex will share the rewards. You can see the map here: console.geodnet.com/map . You will see the green hexes once you zoom in on the map. If there is only one miner within the hex, they will get the 48 geod tokens per day. If there are two miners, they will split the rewards. and so on. However, there are hex NFTs that miners can get if they have provided good data long enough. Then the miners with the NFT will get 100% rewards (48 GEOD per day) even though other miners join the same hex. Whilst the other miners within the hex without NFT, still split the 48 GEOD tokens per day. So it's kind of two "payout-pools". Then it get's a little more complicated than that, but that is basically it. In Geodnets discord they have a manual document under "manual documents channel" were it is described a bit more into detail. Hope it helped! /Nordic
I 100% agree that DEPIN will be the big piece of 2024 thanks to its usefulness and the interest of several players to position themselves on projects with a more solid foundation than MEME and ScPrime (SCP) will be one of them with its second largest network and with the Relayer which allows 100% control of its data on its decentralized network a project to monitor with its migration to Solana of the SPF token in the coming weeks
I'm living in the deep countryside with a 1gb up and down internet connection. Could you point me out the good information so I can figure out if you x14 could be a fit for me. Cheers!
You need clear view on a 10 degree angle in all directions. I deployed a telescoping "flagpole" to put my antenna above roof level and secured it with clamps to the wall and to a base and it is working fine.
Great video. Thoughts on this vs the weatherxm? Was thinking of getting either or both maybe if possible but they both need open air? Was thinking of putting it on a pole on my balcony 🤔
Thank you Petah! You could definitely run both. I would just put the geodnet miner higher than the weatherxm so that it does not block the sky. The WeatherXM is still in testnet but soon mainnet, but we have no idea how much it earns us. Wish you a great weekend!
The other question is that when I entered the purchase page for the device and chose the European region, there was not any kind of discount. I used your instructions.
Hi there! It's a good thing to check your location to see if there are any other setup miners near you. There is only 4100 miners active in the world right now so the risk of that is not too high yet. But you can check that on their explorer map here: console.geodnet.com/map Even though you have other miners in the nearby area you will still earn rewards. As long as the miner got a clear sky above
a question i never see when watching crypto content... do you guys actually have a self-employment for taxes or how does this all stuff work? i can't make more than 410$ a year without registering this as a self employment and having to pay taxes with this stuff
That's a great question. It of course differs depending on where you live. For me, all income from mining is taxable under "income" and get's taxed at 30%. A private person does not need to list as a company (where I live) to mine crypto. Hopefully I will be able to post a video on this soon
You simply need to access your network to see which ip the device is given on your lan. With that ip-address your networks give the device, you simply type it in the webbrowser and you will be able to set it up from there. Can be done on mobile
Good question. It is only the miner antenna that should be out in the open and it can handle snow. I guess, if there were to accumulate a thick layer of snow, the signal could be hindered --> making the rewards lower. But mounting the antenna on a pole should make it so that snow is not able to accumulate too much
It works, but you maybe will not get full or no rewards since the miner needs to be connected to >20 satellites to atleast get rewards. With half a sky that is difficult. So I have heard
I changed the location of one of the M2 Pro devices I have and in the new location I have to connect the device to the new wireless network... How do I do this? Can you help me? Thank you,
It was a long time ago. But i think it includes something about the hexes you need to mint in the AXS app. Better check with MXC's telegram or discord for the best info
The roof or access to an open field placing if for sure the bottle neck for fast growth in terms of miner numbers. But rather see that and good data than the other way around. Perhaps you can place a miner on top of some else's roof? 😅
The stations within the same hex will share the reward. There is also Hex NFTs that can be minted by the first miners in a new hexagon that will always get the full reward if they have their miner online
Good question. A bigger antenna would not help earnings. The current antenna is more than enough to cover the entire sky. The optimization part is for a user to find a clear sky with nothing blocking the view to satellites. That will end up making the user earn the full amount every day. So make sure to find a clear spot and you will be rocking those Geod rewards /Nordic
I remain eternally grateful to Sarah Justina for her efforts that got me to this point, finally paid off my mortgage and all my debts, what more could I've asked for. She changed my life for good.
No I don't think so. Since the setup needs open area or roof there isn't as many people that buy large numbers of the miners. So seems pretty easy to get still
The thumbnail picture number $187 was showing the current earnings, and the earnings had the potential to be increased to $2600. Therefore ($187 --> $2600). That was at least my thought behind the thumbnail
But I don't think helium collects/focus on GNSS data? If so, I don't think Helium collect it and can offer the same precision and utility as Geodnet can with their specific setup. Let me know your thoughts! /Nordic

Good question! The large antenna and cable is made for being outside and are thereby waterproof. Whilst the miner hub with the hyfix logo on it is not. So it's intended to have the miner hub either indoors, in the attic, or in an enclosure where it does not come into contact with water and drag the long cable up to the roof where you place the antenna.
@@NordicCrypto you convinced me, i take one even if i don't live in a blue area. I hope the x1 multiplier will work even if a neighbor place one too. I just hope the token will stay up long enough for it to pay itself back... Just a question, can that miner be independant in electricity with a solar pannel and battery? Do it work even in a isolated french place with bad wifi + How long is the cable for the antena
Not at all. Helium was originally launched for LoRaWAN IoT signalling. This is for GNSS geolocation optimization making location based applications services 100x more precise down to the centimeter level. Think of automated tractors, automated farming, automated lawn mowers. Very different use cases.
It's great with real use-case. So I personally think Geodnet it will perform good during 2024. That is why I showed you the Hyfix site. There you can get it for less than $700 including shipping to EU if you use the discount code.
But does helium collect GNSS data? If so, I don't think they collect it and can offer the same precision and utility as Geodnet. Think they are focusing on different things. Let me know what you think
