From left to right, Geoff Castillucci, Geoff Castillucci, Geoff Castillucci and Geoff Castillucci. He sings all the parts and does all the arrangements for his solo work. He has a roughly 5 octave vocal range.

Excellent reaction! I love it when a reactor doesn't realize that all those guys singing are Geoff. It's hard not to get emotional watching anything Geoff puts out. He truly has a gift from God to make people feel great and happy!

Geoff is portraying four of the dwarves from The Hobbit: Kili, Bofur, Fili, and Thorin. It adds to the emotional impact of the song when we remember that three of the four characters will not survive the coming battle. This one of my favorites of Geoff's solo videos. He is such a skilled arranger and actor and quite good at video editing too. It's all Geoff...his video descriptions list what he and any others contributed to each project. It's often pretty much Geoff and his wife, Kathy.

Geoff is also playing the piano and all the other instrumentation and sounds through programming. Try his arrangement of 16 Tons. It's a classic country song in the US. Put the closed captions on, he sometimes throws in a little humor. Also, his wife suffers from profound hearing loss, helped by hearing aids. He is very sensitive to the hearing impaired, so his captions are also very descriptive at times. And Voiceplay's next one will knock your socks off!

That would be Geoff, Geoff, Geoff and Geoff. Or if we're going by his clone-names: Geoff, Jeff, Jeoph and Goff. Or maybe Darryl; it's hard to tell when there are beards involved. But seriously- it's all him, with good makeup and video editing. He always provides his own backing vocals, because he's so much more than just a bass voice. But I do love his lower tones; he's a serenade from a grizzly bear in the best possible way!

Every male voice singing you hear is Mr. Castellucci. Nice reaction, I love reactors who actually REACT and don't just stare stone-faced at the screen. I agree with the "hugging" metaphor. I liked to compare listening to him to sinking into a hot bath. 💙

Generally speaking with Geoff and Voiceplays' works you don't have to worry about copyright from them because they own all their own music and licensing. They produce their own stuff and they sometimes peek into reactions of channels like yours, so don't worry so much about copyright with them!!!

A word that seems to come to a lot of people who listen to this version of the song, and which I think is very appropriate, is "somber". Somehow Geoff finds an emotional tone with the song that I've never heard before, and it makes the song even more impactful. For me, this is the best video Geoff has made on his solo channel. Everything seems to have come together in perfect harmony that just strikes a huge chord with me, and I love it!

It's funny, I never heard Ed Sheeran's version, and I didn't particularly like the Hobbit movies... but, 'The Hobbit' is my favorite book, and the lyrics vividly capture the troubles of the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain... combine that with Geoff's angelic highs and Dwarvish low rumbles and... you know what? I admit it: I cry every time I hear this version of this song. Geoff absolutely nailed it.

Don't you remember from Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold? It's all him. On his channel, it's always all him. The instruments are usually all him as well (often but, not always plug-ins on his keyboard).

Alison All 4 are Geoff in different characters from the Hobbit. Geoff has a lot of videos plus his friends of Voiceplay on his channel. Geoff has a voice range of 4 to 5 Octaves with Subharmonics of Bass Notes. He explains on how to do Bass Notes to subharmonic levels without damaging vocal cords.

I've noticed guys especially like Geoff's "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold." Maybe it's more warrior-cool. This one has a more romantic feel. But the drama of "Hellfire" gets to me the most, I think.

The Firefighters who battle to protect our homes and towns. The Hotshots and Smokejumpers who protect our natural land and wildlife. I love Geoff's version of this song, I feel that he nailed the 'atmosphere' of what the dwarves were facing (taking nothing away from Ed Sheeran's amazing lyrics!), this feels so emotional! Oh, and by the way - you don't need to pause on ANY of Geoff's (or Voiceplay's) videos, they do not block anyone!

You probably could have commented that on one of their videos then hey, instead of taking the extra effort to write a fatuous comment 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I appreciate the extra energy put into scrolling down and typing that out rather than just clicking back or on their videos. Funny, I don’t usually walk into a shop and let them know I like the brands and the store but not the way the person looks that’s working behind the register. But each to their own you know. We were all brought up different and that shows sometimes. :)
