Please Ruku speak about ur crop ( muguka) Miraa has not been affected. People should draw the difference. Mbeere people farm muguka, meru farm miraa. We have other crops that we can plant in Mbeere and do well further more he has suggested other crops to farmers yet he still insists on Muguka. He is just speaking for his farmers but in all honesty Muguka has messed up Mbeere North, the Siakago town closes literally at 7 pm in preparation for waking up at 2:30 AM to start harvesting. The activities goes on to 6:30 am when the farmers have sold their 3 or 4 Karais then they go back to sleep. Meanwhile, this may include school going children or the fact that the father and mothers of school going children have both gone to the market and the students are left to wake up and prepare themselves for school. The firstborn no matter how old takes care of all the other kids in the family. Ban it.
