Yeah He is a great king who built the oldest existing damn in India and UNESCO World Heritage Site Brihadisvara Temple at Thanjavur, the Temple of Gangaikonda Cholapuram and the Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram..... i am maharashtrian and lives in mumbai.. the languages in diff part of maharashtra is diff.. .. in maharashtra not only the tone is diff but sometimes even words are totally diff..we hav i think more than 10 mejor dailects... language and food type changes after every 1000 mteres.. this is only about one state now imagine about all states... PS.. still together we are INDIANS

Not only migration is reason but if u hear people of Gondia district of Maharashtra which is in opposite end of Mumbai speaking Marathi it's way different than people from Marathwada (being near the MP and Chattisgarh is a big reason)
