Since almost all of the viewers are students... I decide to write the answer down 4 fact about Africa's size: 1. Africa is the second largest continent in the world 2. It runs 5,000 thousand miles from the Mediterranean Sea, all the way done to the Cape of Good Hope. 3. It also runs 4,600 miles from Cape Verde all the way over Somalia. 4. It has a total of 30 million square kilometres (11.7 million square miles) which is the second only to Asia. Identify the biomes found in Africa: 1. Desert: Deserts are the religions that receive a very little precipitation. A common definition for desert is an area that gets less than 10 inches of rain per year. 2. Rain-forest: Rain forests are the religion that experience heavy rainfall. For a region to be considered a rain forest it receives at least 70 inches of rain per year but some rainforests receive much more! Some estimates say as many as half of all plants and animals on earth live in rain forests! Over a quarter of natural medicines which have been discovered were found in the rainforest! Rain forests are responsible for processing 28% of the world's carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen so we can breath! 3. Savanna: The savanna is a grassy plain which covers nearly half of Africa. The savanna is characterized by scattered trees among a land space of grasses and shrubs. 4. Chaparral: Chaparral is characterized by short woody shrubs and a climate of mild wet winter and hot dry summers. 4. Major bodies of water that form the borders: The Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, and the India Ocean. 5. Mountains (elevated land): Africa, the Atlas Mountain, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Least at least 3 natural resources in Africa: 1. Gold Mines 2. Rubber Trees 3. Oil ... It took me a lot of time to type, so why don't you leave a like?
Mr zoller it's teachers like you that made me want to study geography. Just a couple more semesters until I get my masters in urban and regional planning. I hope you continue to inspire students both in classrooms and on the web.
I have to watch this for google classes and it’s not fun they give you more homework than they did when corona virus was real it’s Anoying and stressful but this was fun to learn
Greetings Mr.Zoller I had you as a teacher in 7 grade I absolutely loved your classes. I’m so glad to see that you’re still teaching the same amazing way you always did. I’m gonna rewatch all your podcasts and leave a like on all of them. Love your teaching and love your class. E.T.
Had to leave what I was doing to comment on your podcast on Africa. The best ever! Short & on point. Hopefully those with a twisted view of Africa will get to understand the magnificent beauty, pristine beaches, natural resources (exploits) and much more about one of the world's most MISUNDERSTOOD LANDMASS!...Thank you, Mr. Zoller.
Africa has 3 snow-capped mountains, i. e Mt Kenya, Mt Kilimanjaro and Ruwenzori Mountains, those ones are close to the equator and have Arctic Climate throughout the year

This guy is spot on! The stereotypes of Africa is a dry deserty place with a bunch of animals but thats not true. There are many different biomes in Africa. People usually consider Africa to be one whole country even tho it's not. Desert: North Africa Rain Forest: West Africa Savanna: East Africa Chaparral: South Africa
Generally good, but seriously deficient of the mountain biome. The deficiency shows in the lack of coverage of the Horn, the Nile Basin, the Danakil Depression and the Ethiopian Highlands.
Thanks i need to learn all about african geografy and you've compressed 5 hours of studying in 10 min , thanks yet again, you just might save my grades at geografy
