Had to look up that Turkish site, it was so intriguing. It's Burj al Babas, built to be residences before the developer ran out of money. They were aiming at the Middle East market, hence the Burj name.

Recognized it because Storror made a video in that location. Unfortunately couldn't remember the exact location other than being in Turkey.

13:23 One of the fire fighters has a uniform that says "SBCoFD", which stands for "San Bernadino County Fire Department" (San Bernadino is a county in southern California). Admittedly a pretty niche way to narrow down the location, though.

I instantly knew this one was in California from the white pickup trick with an orange horizontal stripe and an orange light on the top. These are the patterns that CalTrans uses, which is the California Department of Transportation, who are often seen fixing the roads or responding to incidents. It’s something that’s easy for a local to notice but would not be known to someone who hasn’t lived in California.

Wow, I was thinking how that Nelson location looked so much like Fallout New Vegas. Nelson is even a location in the game. I think it was those cacti what gave it away. Those are very typical of the Mojave.

The barn in Game 2, round 1 is featured in "The Walking Dead" series, filmed outside of Atlanta. It's the scene where The Governor fights Merle in season 3, episode 15. I used to be a huge fan and followed TWD filming locations, but of course I didn't realize it until after guessing 🤣

The machine in the third round of the first game reminded me of a small version of a mining machine called a Bucket-wheel excavator.

That's what I was thinking as well at first, but it's missing the buckets. I think it might be a crane of some sort, seems to have some kind of pulley system at the end of the arm.

I love your videos Peter, you have an amazing personality and attitude but I think geoguessr doesn't care about us folks with no accounts and the play along links are always broken. The first 2 or 3 rounds always time out. I watch it going from 1:23 seconds to zero and the timed out message. I think it's on purpose so we don't play for free and have to pay for an account. Anyway, that sux but I still like your videos

I'm not sure if this is always true but I saw that in Uruguay they have smaller houses than in Argentina, so I was almost 100% sure that it was Uruguay at the last round. Maybe I created a new meta right now. 😃

And I always thought John Paul II was the only holy Pole. Turns out they have a bunch of them in Hungaria of all places! I wouldn't call that apocalyptic though.
