Jamaica has 88 Olympic medals. All of them in running distances at or below 800m, expect for 2 long jump medals and one in cycling.

Japan is a lot more difficult and expensive to travel than Romania. A flight to Bucharest would cost like 100$, very easy (short flight) and affordable to travel for the weekend. Great video!

Let’s see if it makes sense, though. Here’s my imagined list of top 20 with no knowledge or checking, and then I’ll check: 1. US, 2. France, 3. Spain, 4. Italy, 5. UK, 6. Greece, 7. Turkey, 8. Egypt, 9. Austria, 10. Germany, 11. Croatia, 12. Switzerland, 13. Saudi Arabia, 14. Netherlands, 15. Czechia, 16. Poland, 17. Netherlands, 18. Morocco, 19. Thailand, 20. ROMANIA or MEXICO. I can’t think of any others that would fit this spot, perhaps Canada or India. So it makes sense that Romania is here, I’d have it with a 40% probability in this place. Now let’s see the actual list: Countries with the highest number of international tourist arrivals worldwide 2022 (data from Statista, probably originally from WTO) (in millions) France 79.4 Spain 71.66 United States 50.87 Turkey 50.45 Italy 49.81 Mexico 38.33 United Kingdom 30.74 Germany 28.46 Greece 27.84 Austria 26.21 United Arab Emirates 22.65 Portugal 22.25 Saudi Arabia 16.64 Netherlands 16.07 Poland 15.95 Croatia 15.32 Canada 12.82 Romania 12.7 Hungary 12.65 Egypt 11.66 So I made a few errors, but still, Romania is a very reasonable guess, as you could only conflate it with about 7 or 8 countries in that spot. While Arabic and Urdu use similar script, they are actually in completely different language families. Arabic is a Semitic language (like Hebrew and Amharic) whereas Urdu, Farsi and Dari are all Indo-European Persianate languages.

Jamaica was a good shot for medals though, they have 87 of them :) I, after some consideration, thought of Brazil, which isn't obvious right away, not many people remember of the stars inside the blue circle on their flag

Nice! I got 219.6 (missed one, also thought Jamaica had more than 100 medals, but they only have 88), 130.9 and 126.1. Brillant of you thinking of Netherlands bordering France and blue being in the Spanish flag.

Also, one good thing to consider about 100+ Olympic medals: socialistic countries ALWAYS put a big emphasis on sports, especially on Olympic sports. Or, at least they did mid to end of 20th century. So having that in mind would've definitly helped with this category.

I wonder if the top 20 tourist arrivals means "within those specific constraints", so Romania would be in the top 20 for Europe, while Japan is not in the top 20 for 20 million+ countries?
