Just took me to Rhino University. Somehow this is both an intro course and advanced study. Networksrf and extractcontrolpolygon are game changers. Thanks for the lessons!
@@AndrewFriedenberg I think it treads that line perfectly! I'd hesitate to call myself a professional, but I have been using Rhino on a near daily basis as part of my job for almost 2 years now :)
thanks man for the explaination, but if i may ask, let say if i want to export it for blender to create animation, in this case im using sub D for some bevel, and nurbs together, what kind of operation do i need before i export it into mesh polygon? should i go with grasshopper and smooth it out first, or just export it?
I mean I would recommend smoothing in GH before export just so all geometry is sorted in 1 program but you could also use the modifiers in blender to subdivide/smooth an imported polygon mesh!
Did you organize the curves yourself or using the network surface auto sort? One tip I’ve used for organizing them visually is changing the color of the U direction curves to blue and the V direction to red. Then it’s clear where there’s a problem
