Can't believe I started watching you when I was like 10, I think? I'm now 19 and I've started watching again since I recently got back into GD. I loved watching your progress when I was younger and remember looking up to you, back when you were beating levels like nine circles and forsaken neon 😂 I also remember watching all your corpse party videos (I was definitely too young for those lmao) but honestly you were one of the RU-vidrs that I loved as a kid. Glad to see you're still doing well man keep it up ❤
Evw if you don’t know why sometimes a platformer level just randomly ends, it’s because the creator of the level didn’t set the end trigger to touch trigger so depending on how far you are from the trigger is how much time it takes for the level to end.
15:51 Dreidel is a Jewish game where people spin a top that has 4 Hebrew letters on it and depending on what letter it lands on, they get a certain amount of chocolate coins called gelt. In this level, they use the random trigger to randomly show 1 of the 4 Hebrew letters on a dreidel.
It's odd that they didn't include anything other than a black screen & the letter though.... it would have been fun to trigger blocks to appear as each of the 4 letters & you have to navigate around them to finish the level.
Evw, you are my favorite gd RU-vidr. I have been watching since 2018, I love your content and your humor always makes me laugh. Thank you for creating content and making my day better! Keep up the amazing work 👍
15:50 FYI evw, the level called dreidel is pronounced Dray-dul and is a game played in the Jewish culture during Hanukkah and the symbol that showed up in the level is a letter in the Israeli alphabet and it’s called HAY, which is a letter on the dreidel, I know this because I celebrate Hanukkah
i think the best thing to do with platformers in the recent tab is give yourself a random amount of time and try to get through as many levels as possible before it runs out
I actually think that the Trollhattan level is suppose to be a level set in Trollhättan which is a town in Sweden, I understand tho if the name sounds sus in English😅 And sorry for my bad english lol
idea: instead of three coins = skip, i think you should do all coins in a level = skip (like if there is only one coin, if you get that you get a skip)
Ive made my own mini game for your videos. Its called "when mistakes are made" the rules are simple: Guess how long it takes Eric to say his lives/skips wrong Guess which one he gets wrong first (lives vs skips)
21:02 this is somehow the first time someone known played one of my levels, funny how you died everytime you were close to the end, it was harder to see because i just made it effortlessly. I also forgot to fix that part, it was broken in the editor. (Which is why i wondered why my level just kinda blew up too)
Some of these platformer levels are so clever and it's obvious you were enjoying yourself with a few of them... maybe it's worth doing a separate Recent Tab video for platformers (twice the content! 👍) and/or combining them in a single session but having slightly different rules for platformers. Looks like it's worthwhile investing a few lives into the longer platformers to progress further into the level using checkpoints & find coins. Definitely need to start with 100 lives though! LOL
Trollhattan is not a troll level, it's a reference to another game. Waiting for Trollgehattan! (another level from the same game that is a sequel to Trollhattan)
