personally, I'm sleeping on the GD community and its notable members, but I know that people like michigun are who gave the community its sparkle, its charm and it saddens me to hear about his passing. I'm truly sorry for his family and friends for having lost a valuable friend and i send my condolences to them. RIP Michigun

I found out about this pretty late, I knew he quit the game 4 years ago as of writing this, but in March 2022, I knew people were talking about michigun being associated to 2021. I was beginning to become worried. I was worried he died. I took a youtube search typing, "Is michigun dead," and saw something. the first title i see is, "R.I.P michigun 1996-2021." I still was not sure. I clicked on the video. I had soon found out about his death and was devastated. I was crying in a pillow after watching the video. I still miss the legend. I just started playing Geometry Dash again for the first time in maybe half a decade I didn't know Michi, but I do know that The Triple Trial is definitely an 8-star level, and I now want to gouge my eyes out

I remember I first started playing when I was 9 and i’m now 15 and seeing Michigun at number one on the leader boards and he kinda made me inspired to get better at the game. I ended up beating all the core levels including the demon ones and I was ranked 6000 or so on the leader boards, RIP Michigun

I had only gotten into GD this past June when I got the idea to play GD mobile on a long drive/road trip. I had gotten a little bit into the YT community previously after learning about "at the speed of light" from a YT recommendation, and it really sparked my interest. After beating many main levels, I knew that I was going to be investing some time into GD, and I hoped to one day beat cataclysm/bloodbath. Although I did not know about Michigun, nor that he was a collaborator in Bloodbath, I will remember him. Although I can no longer witness his activity in the community, I stand with the rest of you.
