This video demonstrates how to use Properties of Vertical Angles, Corresponding Angles, Interior Angles of a Triangle, and Supplementary Angles to find all the angles in a diagram. Other Properties discussed include Alternate Interior Angles, Alternate Exterior Angles, Complementary Angles, and the Exterior and Opposite Interior Angles of a triangle. The diagram that is analyzed includes two parallel lines crossed by two transversals.

1) bmcrae 2) MGF1106 EFSC 3) If we look at the angles that are outside parallel lines and on alternate sides of the transversal, we call these alternate exterior angles.

Roxanne Geldart MGF1106 TR 2pm "Corresponding angles, they are on the same side of the traversal L3, and they're both on top of the parallel lines. This means that angel 6 is equal to the sum of angles 1 and 2. Angle 6 is 114 degrees and angel 2 is 57 degrees. So subtract these two values to find angle 1. "

Melissa Caso MGF1106 W 9:30 My takeaway from this video is there are different types of relationships we have to remember such as complementary which sums up to 90 degrees and Interior angles of a Triangle which always sum up to 180 degrees. You make this much more easier to understand and this takes a lot of stress out of math for me. Thank you!

Jaimee Armesto MGF 1106 Something I learned from this video was the difference between alternate exterior angles and alternate interior angles. Exterior angles are outside of the parallel lines, while interior interior angles are inside of the parallel lines.

Identifying each vertical angle first and if an angle is opposite of one another they are equal ; Each angle has to add up to 180 degrees in an triangle and each supplemental angle add up to 180 degrees... I always had trouble trying to figure out this for years and this video was really helpful thank you soooo much

MFG 1106 If we are given two angles of a triangle are 66 degrees and 57 degrees in order to find the third angle you must add these two angles and subtract them from 180 degrees.

There are two parallel lines and two transversals. It forms a triangle and 14 angles. Starting with the two angles in the center if the triangle you can solve for the rest if angles.

Valentina Olano MGF 1106 My take-away from this video is that supplementary angles will always sum up to 180 degrees. No matter what angle the ray goes in, the angles on either side of the ray will add up to 180 degrees.

Before watching this video I knew the names of different angles but did not know the relationship and I can find or solve one angle by using the relationships. MGF1106 I didn't realize that the corresponding, alternate interior and alternate exterior are all equal until I watched this video and that it is easier to fill in the vertical angles 1st before doing any other calculation because they are equal.
