Geonworks Frog TKL is a high-end entry custom board 

frog tkl is certainly an entire tier above the freebird tkl. The fact it's only $50 more and does "frequent" runs gives me a bit of buyers regret.. but with the frog you kind of have to really be on top of the sales. They sell out quite quickly. I'll enjoy the freebird tkl for a while (once I get it) but there is a good chance I may sell it for a geon board in the future

This became even more true after the olive/navy FBTKL fiasco.

I'm always going to get docked for using my index finger, but it's how I type for a very long time. There was a time where I type with thumb spacebar but that didn't last long, that's how I was taught too of course. But I just type faster and better using index lol.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tried the Zoom TKL so can't say much on it. The Tiger 80 I can't really recommend as a good quality board. I just have too many complaints from clients who I've built KBDfan boards for. Their PCB is having issues, keys are being randomly remapped out of nowhere, keeps stop working, even trying to fix in VIA... anything from KBDfans, does not go on my list for a good experience. However, I will say that a couple years ago I didn't experience nearly as much complaints (if any actually) from KBDfans, it all started coming up this year. I can't in good conscience bring someone into the hobby and direct them to certain boards that are known to have issues like that. Of course if their quality changes over time, then I can recommend them.

and i would like to add the Nuphy Halo which i just bought. It is absolutely amazing and easily feels comparable to my friend's premium keyboards, for a quarter of the price.

You don't NEED to get use to those layouts. Nobody does. You just use to the layout that fits your workflow the best. I personally like 75 and TKL only. No less no more. There's no wrong answer.

The tiger lite doesn't even come close to the frog, it's a plastic foam board made by one of the worst companies in the hobby, don't buy that.

@@Purvit No, I am not a KBDFans employee. I live in Germany, not in China. And you are still not giving us any reasoning whatsoever as to why you don't like KBDFans, but I guess you're working for a competitor, not doing so well eh?

For $300, those boards you named cannot even come close to geon’s frog tkl.

Price is not the only thing that counts where it should be categorized. Most people consider this very entry level for "premium custom"... so in a way I guess you can count that as "mid tier", but even in mid tier there's way better. And yes, as mentioned, every person will categorize in their mind what category, there's grey areas. I appreciate your feedback and taking the time to watch as well!

id argue 150-200 isnt entry either but every new "entry" board is around that price
