This video shows how to georeference a scanned map and to use it as a backdrop for digitizing points, lines and polygon vectors. The vector layers are stored in a GeoPackage, including their styles.

HI, I need to load a JPEG that doesn't have coordinates (like a satellite pic), how can I place it geographically in the right place?

Hi. Then you need use the image to image georeferencing explained in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-67j_HShwv8Y.html. Or use ground control points collected in the field using a (D)GPS.

You can use r.watershed from GRASS which is available in the Processing Toolbox. For the input "Amount of overland flow per cell" you can use a precipitation raster layer. If omitted it will use a unit of 1 and the will be Number of cells that drain to each cell.
