acosta forever... I was already listening to stuff like Paul van dyk, binary finary, cosmic gate, etc, but George Acosta is what really got me in to mixes and really was the gateway to my trance infatuation in the late 90s and early 2000s. Brings back so many memories!

I used to rave in Denver around that time, too. The absolute BEST parties were experienced. I was particularly fond of the Roofless parties. My favorites were Pegasus (star constellation party at a farmer's warehouse out in the sticks of Arriba), the Elements parties such as 'Water', and Candyland at a high-school in CO Springs. Amazing, amazing times.

There is nothing comparable to what DJing was and the way technology progressed it . You would have to press record, spin for hours the same beat over and over press stop..flip and repeat until it was perfect...u may have had a couple roland808s but no computer unless you were at the studio..now all u need is a laptop or MacBook and your an instant DJ..blah...NEVER. that era of djs Tiesto Armin Van Buren ,Paul Oakenfold DJ Ivey Huda Hudia, Baby Anne, Simply Jeff had me hooked ...that's all I did was club spin club spin ...never got anywhere then life happens and then it comes back to u like a dream when you listen to the greatest real djs show out on true vinyl..

Ah, the music I sleep to...... If you are prone to nightmares, happy trippy trance is the way to go. Makes your night trip mares less terrible. Its increasingly difficult to have feelings of terror and anguish when you dream, when all your sensory is hijacked and infused with endorphin releasing George Acosta.

Transcended Soul I used to listen to mostly metal up to 2004 I switched to Trance and it shifted my entire mindset....it’s powerful stuff. I still listen to it today and it still calms my soul

Duuuuuuude I played the hell out of this CD so many times back in 2002. I was 9-10 years old back then. The transition from track 9 to track 10 at 44:52-45:54 is still one of my favorite parts ever, and the epic climax at 50:00 (X-T-Cee... whoosh... boom!) too. Long live trance music.

There was this one show at red rocks the last time it was called rave on the rocks before they changed it to weekend of E. It was Acosta, Oakenfold and Paul Vandyk. We showed up at 5 and Acosta was already spinning. It was a bummer cause he went first. We missed all but 2 songs. Anyway, Paul Vandyk no-showed and the producers asked George to Headline instead. (Cosmic Gate was there too) When they finished, Acosta came out and it was pure magic. He blew everyone's minds. Lightning over the lights of Denver Lasers bouncing off of the canyon walls. Some much bass it was making the handrails move an inch back and forth. Something spiritual that night...

I remember back in 2005 sophomore year in high school i brought this cd along with me on a trip to a bands of america competition. We took a charter bus and i asked the bus driver if he could pop it into the dvd player of the bus everyone was jamming out 😄

a si es. tuve el privilegio de escuchar las primicias gracias a una emisora que busque por mi solo y que era la única radio que pasaba esta música . y por de costumbre ponían música recién lanzado del mercado hacia la radio . todos los domingos a partir de 1 am. hasta las 5am sin nada de comercial y yo muy atento a grabarlo en casettte . y es genial por que yo también hacia lo mismo compartía con un amigo en especial que le gustaba lo que yo escuchaba,buenos recuerdos. y por cierto me equivoque también fue en el 2002.
