I am so incredibly blessed to have experienced Mr Jarreau in several live concerts... dragging my friends, who didn't know what they were in for.... a trans-formative experience in pure joy! RIP Angel Al.

This truly touches the face of God. It is a spiritual experience listening to him. It gives me chills. Thank u God for letting us have him for this short time on earth. He represents so many happy memories for me. I'm so sad.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎶

I'm so pleased to be one of millions to see Al performing live. I saw him for my first time on July 14th at the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague Netherlands. Special guest was Randy Crawford. I can't stop thinking about this extraordinary evening in a packet Statenhal. Rest in peace your music will be alive for ever!

I suspect, that the dislikers might be - people, who just like completely different style of music, classic, metal, whatever, and they are dissapointed that Jarreau is not metal enough (absurd...?). The dislikers might be also rather young musicians, who just know everything better... They may be also people, who payed about 150 dollars for tickets for that night at Montreux and didn't enjoyed the evening enough...

GOD THEY are GREAT!!!!! GOD produced two of the best musicians that ever lived. I am glad I grew up during their artistic brilliance. Had a chance to see GB in June 2016 and AJ about 20 odd years ago. Wish I could turn back the clock

Yup, no more Al Jarreau, sooo sooo sad :( I heard it in the news, I guess I refused to believe it at first. This loss hurts deep. Al Jarreau now "reached higher still" and finally "touch the face of God" What a legacy he's left us, his awesome music will play on!! ...we were sooo blessed to have experienced a few live performances, they were great!! Thank you very much for sharing sir!!

God, I was so sad when I heard Al passed away...we didnt just lose an incredible musician (I mean, he was the ENTIRE rhythm section all by himself)..but he was such a good human being.
