The music of Faso is an inexhaustible source of sweetness. It allows us to plunge deep inside ourselves and at the same time resonate with our fellow man, Yé Lassina Coulibaly❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When Breezin' came out and I ran across it, I spent months as a 19 year old with only the most basic guitar skills growing my skills and finger dexterity in pursuit of playing as much of it by ear as possible. It was a unique experience, coming from a rock background and messing around with a "Play the Ventures" record as about the extent of my prior efforts. Luckily I found I had strong relative pitch recognition, likely from growing up in a musical family where mom taught piano lessons and played classical and pop piano for us. I almost decided to make guitar a career pursuit listening to George and took a semester of jazz guitar in college, but realized I had too many varied interests to put the necessary singular focus into it to get to where I would have wanted to be. Instead, I've settled for decades of joy from putting on a new CD and trying to quickly pick off the melodies and creating counter riffs and my own solos in the gaps... it's tremendously satisfying, but of no commercial value.
@@klecoxs2 Yeah, that's the satisfaction in it! It wound up spreading out as I now have a hobby MIDI studio and have written a dozen or so songs and recorded them, again, nothing huge, just satisfying.
In my opinion if you DID pursue commercial gain, you'd lose the joy you have now. Extrinsic vs. intrinsic motivation. I wish you decades more of happy, joyous playing :)
That's Slick Ben! Very Creative...Haaaaaa. George is my hero too. I sat in with him once in 1970 at the Hurricane Bar (chitlin circuit) in Pittsburgh playing trombone. It was an experience I'll never forget.
I LOVED THAT! Bro, I could not even imagine what it would be like to play with George. And you did Great! I love your technique. Playin it right, in front of George and using every one of those 4 fingers God gave you. Tremendous. One of the TRUE legends of my lifetime. I am not ashamed to admit I have idols. George Benson, Johnny Smith, Joe Pass, Ayrton Senna and Thurman Munson. Thank you for sharing this! Joe D
Unless this is a (bad) joke, then shame on you for editing this in such a way as to appear as if your were brought up on stage by the great Mr. Benson. Your playing does not hold a candle to his. You should be ashamed.
Que mal gusto hacer un video de alguien que jamas estuvo presente en rl escenario con George Benson de hecho al wue presenta y dice que es un gran músico en a Joe Sample.
Hey man be careful. If you get sued off this aint nobody coming to your defense. This is not a cover... you have effectively commiteed hardcore copywrite infringement... I know that you had good intentions and didnt mean any harm but the legal system wouldnt see it that way... 😬
you are looking for attention in the wrong way brother..sijuwe kalipa copy right ,,kutumikisha video zamwenyiwe..! Spend time with your instrument, write your own songs then do your own videos...stop fooling people!!!Upuuzi mtupu!!!😀
