My attempt at playing George Benson's amazing version of Billie's Bounce from his album 'Giblet Gravy'. Backing track is from the Wolf Marshall transcription book 'Best of George Benson'
Great playing…I am thinking about getting this particular Ibanez afc95 ,but my main concern is,im 6’4.And to your height is looking a little smaller body.I don’t know how tall are you,but appears a little small.
Hi Ned, I'm 6'1" - I guess the body is smaller than most jazz boxes, but that is what I was after personally. But yeah, it would look even smaller on someone with your stature. Hope you find the right guitar for your needs and thanks for watching.
Cheers mate. I used to have an Ibanez Pm35 Pat Metheny model, but got rid of it because the AFC-95 was so good and sounded better. I have had it professionally set up though...
@@robmcfall4078 Excellent playing and wonderful sound from the AFC95. I have one as well and am curious about the setup. I know the bridge on mine needs to be sanded to the contour of the top as I can see a good bit of light between the two. The action is fantastic though and I find the pickups to be more "modern" sounding. What amp(s) do you play through? Thanks!
@@MAHGlie Thanks for the comment Erwin. The bridge on mine seems to be absolutely fine, but I did get it professionally set up to iron out a couple of fret buzz problems. You are right about the sound - definitely modern and tight. Once I got the AFC-95 I sold my Ibanez PM35 Pat Metheny model as there was no comparison sound wise IMO. The amp is a Boss Katana 50 miked up with an sm57. Cheers
