I thought that the late George Carlin was more than just a comedian. He was into prophecies,and wasn't shy about what he thought about organized religion. I, myself,am no fan of it;never have and never will. But he was just a human being who simply had felt what I had felt for so long..... That I used to be an atheist. For a long time I had felt despair, feeling hopeless,had little faith in myself,but never broke the law. I never had hurt anybody. Never had talked bad about anything to anybody for any reason, whatsoever! Because I had no reason to. The late George Carlin certainly had been a legend in himself, worked hard to get where he, himself,had wanted to go. He was certainly nobody's fool, because he wasn't one. But even he had flaws. Just like everyone else. We're all human,folks. I've learned quite a lot from George Carlin. From Bill Maher. From other people who also felt like religion wasn't what they thought it would be. (I Kno I hadn't been a saint,but who is?) Nobody's perfect. NO ONE is without sin, regardless of what anyone negatively thinks and/or believes. Or don't believe. I could care less and less the moment election day comes around. I, myself, don't care hardly anything about it, because it doesn't change anything. If you get ignorant and selfish misguided people,then you'll get selfish misguided people in office,too! And vice versa. Atheists are not bad people. It's the SIN that makes us human, because we're not robots. We're not angels. Not saints. Not disciples in becoming masters of education, knowledge,and being knowledgeable in just about any religion. Because no religion is better than any other religion. As long as there's humans on earth, which is mankind,then there will always be war.

personally i think a god exists. but he's not in any religion that exists. he just started the universe and sat back and watched things happen. when I say started I mean he threw a bunch of crap into a void and let things progress. then we eventually came to where we are now. so he didn't create everything he just started everything. i have had others tell me that's the same thing and its not XD. that's like saying the people who grew the vegetables in the soup you used them in made the soup. the way I know there is a god is fairly simple. just ask the question where did that come from over and over again and eventually you will go all the way to the beginning of the universe before the big bang before anything existed and the only answer to how stuff got there was someone or something put it there. that would be said god. the difference between this god and the ones in religion is he has done nothing since starting the universe. plus the fact that people think god created us in his image is a joke. for 1 that's just pure ego talking. 2 we are a bunch of small people on a random piece of rock in a galaxy and have done nothing that is of any importance or meaningful since we have been here. we kill each other in petty dumb wars for no reason and have made no impact in anything. so he most likely doesn't even know we exist. and if he does then he sure as hell is not interested in a bunch of idiotic insects. if anything he's watching the life that has taken over planets and even galaxies as they did something that mattered. so yeah a god exists and he has had no part in anything that has happened in the universe. oh also I have a theory on other worlds outside this universe. if you want me to share it just ask since I wrote so much already.

Yeah as an american that always confused me why so many black folks became so religious. Maybe they dont realize the religion was forced upon them by slave owners? I mean the religion is basically designed for keeping slaves/peasants toiling in the field and not questioning their roll in life. @@herojiro31valmire32 dude, I'm not sure what your second sentence was supposed to say. I'm about a third of the way through that video. Those are medical anomolies, not miracles. Even if they can't be explained by science currently there's a good chance they will be in the coming years. And even if not that is hardly any solid proof of God. It seems kinda silly for God to bring one or 2 ppl back from death/ the edge of death and leave so much other horrendous stuff untouched. Why would you be bitter if you didn't believe in an afterlife. In a way, if this is the only life we have it makes each day more precious. There's nothing rude about what Carlin had to say.

If you can't explain yourself then you're not fighting for anything. It's a comfort to believe that you're on the right side of history, but if you can't describe why that is then it's meaningless. So it does matter what happens. People's reasons for affecting the trajectory of humanity are important. I can't imagine anything more important. It matters a hell of a lot what happens and why. Claiming that it doesn't matter is a cop-out.
