With Appalachian roots, my GIANT caravan has been a 2 year journey of imagination, frustration, blood, sweat and tears and very special moments with my Niece and Great Nephew, (the only 2 that helped my husbnd and I), that i will forever treasure. 858 square feet of love from generations past, everything in it has a family tie like my Grandmothers 100 year old peddle sewing machine, 80 year old metal bed frame nearly all my Aunts and Uncles were born in. A 70 year old dining room buffet made into a double sink for the master bedroom, a 40 year old picnic style dining table with backed benches, a wonderful gift from my mother and decades of loved trinkets passed down to me from many family members. The structure doesn't make a shell into a home....love does. I thank God for His blessings and gift of a beautiful home.❣️🙏❣️✝️❣️
I cried happy tears seeing the finished caravan knowing every minute detail was the sum of everything George loves. Imagining the deep satisfaction of being safe and snug, surrounded by stunning nature in a sumptuous home made me so happy for George. Then seeing his darling kids arrive and give their approval was absolutely beautiful. Well done George, you've truly earnt this best wishes for your future and I look forward to your memoirs and any more creative works you produce. Brilliant series, marvellous finale. Much love. 🌲🐦🦢🦉🐜🐝🦋🐞🐌🌳🏞️✨👆💯👌❤️
What a top bloke, never get tired of any of the shows he presents.....This is not a static van, it's a home!.... If ever I moved back to the UK would rather live in this than any house.... top marks George and the team
George, I have been lucky to see many of your shows over the years on television. Now, on RU-vid, I can follow the beautiful inventive homes you show us. Please keep going. Your new home is absolutely gorgeous. The arched ceiling and the William Morris inventive usage of decor is stunning.
Max must really love you George because he's done an OUTSTANDING JOB. Great workmanship. 👏👏👏❤️ I hope you get to enjoy your new beautiful amazing space and thanks for the uploads! ❤
I've really enjoyed this series, thanks so much for generously sharing it with us in the US. I would pay to see the past seasons! Between George Clarke's shows, Grand Designs, and other great home restoration shows, the UK has such thoughtful and well done programs unlike anything available in the US (This Old House as a notable exception).
Without a doubt, the most elegant, comfortable, stylish, peaceful, calming, artistic and intelligent design I have ever seen. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Ohio/US
Absolutely spectacular caravan! I love arts and crafts and this project really pays genuine homage to that movement. Beautifully crafted, as was the bonkers plane. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. A real treat.
As a life-long fan of William Morris, I love the caravan. Many happy days to you and your children in that beautiful environment. I won't ask the final cost.
Such a fantastic episode! The aeroplane conversion was awesome, and the guy's attitude was so positive and creative. The final caravan reveal was stunning, so beautiful and intentionally thought out and fantastically executed. Such a joy sharing George and Max's pride and success. I love this show so much!! (Also, wow, so surreal to see how George's kids have grown so much)
I am amazed by the caravan! I didn't know what to expect... I feared it would turn out dark and overloaded with patterns and dark colors. But it is so bright and airy! I love the green colors and every detail. It is so inviting and peaceful!
Fantastic series! George is brilliant and highlights the most amazing projects and people. He gives credit to them all Wouldn't it be nice to put their names somewhere in the caravan too. Maybe an artist could make a print, William Morris style , with the names of people, like Max, the fabric designer, stained glass window artist, the slate quarryman... who contributed this beautiful creation. Well done all, a joy to see such talent.
Amazing George!!!! so Happy for you. you Have inspired me for years. Now I want to redo our trailer, Canadian!!!!here, into what you have done. Morris is one of my FAVORITE designers. I'm a bridal designer. if you ever come to Canada I would love to have you design my studio space. 🥰love your shows much, keep inspiring people as you do💝
I'll take two. One in Spring greens and the other in Autumn golds. Can you give me an estimate. 😅🤣😅. I actually converted a barn into a studio for a company who were making reproduction William Morris designs. They were being used to replace original William Morris products. A report was aired on the BBC introduced by Eric Knowles.
I really enjoyed this episode but the country you visited and show that structure at the middle of desert is Palestine not Israel there is nothing called Israel they are an occupation not a country
