A rousing celebration of life for George Floyd was held in his hometown of Houston, Texas, as mourners packed Fountain of Praise Church for a private, invite-only service. As his golden coffin was wheeled in, police saluted. The worldwide movement sparked by Floyd's death has shown no signs of abating, a point that was emphasized in Reverend Al Sharpton’s eulogy. Floyd's 6-year-old daughter Gianna arrived with her mom behind her, as grieving family and friends viewed his body for the last time. #InsideEdition

I totally respect the fact that it's this man's funeral and he was unjustly killed by police. But I can't help but feel sad about David Dorn, and how his life seems so insignificant compared to George Floyd. I honestly hope we get some news coverage about his funeral, or at least something. I haven't seen the BBC nor Sky News report on his death, yet he was black, killed at the hands of another black man.

This all doesn’t take away from the fact that he also did very terrible things like putting a gun to a pregnant woman’s stomach during a robbery. It’s terrible that this happened but Floyd was not the best person either.
