Earlier last week, the former Oasis member had given an interview in which he called the Labour leader a communist. Our host took him to task over these words. Read more at talkradio.co.uk/news/george-ga...
Personally, George, I think it's a breath of fresh air that a pop star has, for once, nailed his colours to the mast. What a pity other celebrities don't have the bottle to speak up.
Stephen Bates are you an idiot? People have been arrested and even deported for so called free speech in this country. There is no such thing. Nice ideal tho eh.
AZAM JAMIL I don’t myself to be an idiot, however I am starting to think the British people are for tolerating such censorship. Time for wholesale changes in the U.K.
George is a great guy, but labour from my experience, depower people, puting housing out of reach, some house price rises in Birmingham were 10 fold, privatisation on a level I had not seen, introduced tuition fees, let in millions, the Tories could never have done so much, from my experience mid 90s UK was socially much better than what followed it and then at the end of the labour administration they run out of money, how crazy is that, leaving whole generation screwed up by a poor labour government. I do believe in social equality and that people deserve good housing, but I don't believe labour could ever deliver it, such a poor record. I will vote for the Brexit Party.
"Oasis were an authentic working class northern voice", .... what the "Champagne Supernova" band... ? Noel Gallagher "power to the people in 1995", ....he was attending New Labour champagne soirees in Downing Street with Blair then?
Pedro2706 why, can't he afford it. By people paying their taxes back in the day it put a roof over his head, educated him, made sure that he had a health service free at point of contact. Now your pockets are full everyone that bought your music, bought tickets for your gigs can fuck off and die. Plus he supports shitty city. Huff said.
It’s Galloway who is the real traitor. He supports terrorist groups, brutal dictatorships, political correctness, defends minorities and doesn’t speak for the working class. WAKE UP AND FACE THOSE FACTS!
Failed politician, lost everywhere, thrown out of the Labour party, lost his respect seat no where to go, then given a job by a tenth rate radio station who nobody listens to until an accidental find on RU-vid,,,,,never again.
The former Oasis guitarist has slammed Corbyn in the past, while also saying that he could never vote for the Tories “because some invisible force field would stop me from putting my vote in the ballot box”.
Noel clearly said he would never vote for the Tories at the same time he slagged off Corbyn. Galloway as usual is talking bollocks and is hypocritically slandering Noel. Galloway likely pulls himself off to recordings of his own voice, he's a ridiculous caricature.
While Noel's mum still lives in the council house that she has lived in for years, despite the fact that her sons would finance her to live anywhere she wanted, there are families in temporary accommodation because the selfish woman won't make her council house available to the sort of people that it was originally built for. Inverted snobbery is the worst form of snobbery.
I met Noel and Liam's mum who was working in a service station on the M62 bout 20 years ago... I asked for a bowl of lentil soup and she responded by asking-"Dyu wanna roll with it?"😀
Noel is the exact same. He just saw his tax bill. The fact that 97% tax rates is even discussed disintegrates the incentive to even work or try to earn a living
. labour in name only labour 40 years ago is not the same party as it was 20 years ago not the same party as it was 50 years ago it changes so when you say labour which labour do you think because you think labour does not change your naïve... he is a communist he wants the power to take peoples homes if there empty to home people communist there are videos on him singing communist songs he was a member of . the communist party he goes on certain marches there is too much to say he is not a communist . google have many .communists have .joined labour.. unevolved
“Traitor to the working classes” I’m sorry George but Noel just blasted Jeremy Corbyn he didn’t swear allegiance to the Conservative party and promise to preform at their conventions. “I know for a fact Jeremy Corbyn is not a communist” well I’m afraid we only have your word for that George and I get the notion that is probably in your interest to say.
The figures don't lie. It has been the working class areas of Britain that kept the Conservatives in power. Just look at the last election it was the big turn around in the middle class areas of Britain that usually voted conservative that made the election so close.
Simon Young I couldn't give you seats off hand but i do remember watching a program where they analysed the election results and it was clear that the vast majority of the seats in the working class areas of the north of England that had voted tory in the last election stayed with the tories. It was the middle class areas in south of England that had always been safe tories seats and had now switch to labour that made the election so close. So is in essence wasn't that the working class had switch from labour to tory it was more a case of the working class voters in the north of England staying with the tories
Like Noel , he is not a diehard anything.... On a clear day I can still hear 'Things can only get better, can only get better, can only get.....................yawn" He calls Noel a Traitor! what is Galloway??
I have a burning contempt for talentless 'bands' like Oasis who are incapable of one iota of musical creativity and who swagger around as if they were the Beatles and who they are not fit to lick the boots of.
so Noel Gallagher has upset Galloway ? - ah well for once he's done something useful in his life.Oasis were indeed a Slade tribute act and a very poor one at that !
Tribute acts are never bigger than the original and oasis were bigger than slade. You don't seem to know how to use common sense or logic. Do you think Slade are an original band?
Corbyn is the only hope we have. Noel, your music's shite it keeps me up all night. You deserved that for knocking Jezza, I had a nightmare last night, it was Jeremy Hunt riding bare back on Boris Johnson through the middle of London being chased by George Galloway who was a dragon scorching the ass of Boris with his fiery rhetoric breath, I don't know where I'm going with this comment.
Noel is Blatcherite. Never ask a musician about politics, they're as cluless as footballers. Incidentally, the working class don't shop at M&S, way too dear, try Primark.
Jeremy Corbyn to my mind is a flag, he seems to blow in the wind of any opinion, I mean look at his position on the Brexit vote. He had been for so long against the EU, then when it came to the vote, he back peddled for us to be staying in.
What is it with celebrities thinking they are experts on politics? On both sides. You need to stfu n talk about your music. For the record Noels mum doesn't live in the same house the Gallagher brothers grew up in......their dad still does though. Also, Noel was a big fan of the Labour party in the mid 90s?
Noel Gallagher has always been an attention seeker. Lulu, great performer, love her music, but politically an absolute air head. Agree completely George. Corbyn got a lot of mud he didn't deserve, and all because he criticised Israel. Now look at Israel, could they go any lower?
I like Jeremy Corbyn - everything I've ever heard him say makes total sense. He's quiet and thoughtful and honest. I like that. I like his policies too. If anything, Corbyn isn't left-wing enough - and by "left wing" I mean "human-rights are more important than property-rights"... which is the classical (french revolution) definition. If you think it's something other than that, then you're getting your political-axes confused. He's still compromising with "big business". Personally, I wouldn't do that. I think we've had enough of that now. re: Communist? LOL. Please. Nobody on the planet comes close to that now, because nobody wants it. Socialism? Workers owning the companies they work for (rather than money-lenders). Sounds like a good idea to me. Being your own boss basically. If socialism means me owning-the-means-of-production - so I have control over whether I'm hired/fired, then I'm a socialist. So are you. re: Noel? Met him once - he seemed ok to me... I still feel a bit embarrassed about that because I was so star-struck by Johnny Marr (who was also there) that I kindof ignored him.... but I don't think he deserves to be attacked like this over one random comment tho. ... Whoever shot this video possibly ought to have positioned the camera so the microphone doesn't do an eclipse-of-the-moon of George's entire head.
Well put, at last someone with a modicum of awareness. . Can't agree about Noel though.... And I still think you are missing the bigger picture... . In fact, everyone here is, as far as I can tell. . I don't think George uses a 'camera man'.... Why would he bother? Besides, its a *radio show*, so really, one only needs to *LISTEN*. [sigh]
I disagree on arresting someone for hurting feelings we've became way to politically correct and that's what people in power like for it to be like that way they can make any crime up to get you out of their hair, power breeds corruption utimate power breeds ultimate corruption
Galloway really has to get beyond the idea of the great orator and charismatic rhetorician as advocate of the people. I just switch off to his pulpit propaganda and stentorian tone, it’s just so third reich and gives Hitchens’ charge of demagogue some credibility.
Pure theatre, George has never in his entire life taken a stand against anything where there wasn't some kind of payback in it for him. He was a Communist when it suited then he was a Muslim again when it suited now he's back to Labour and Corbyn, only because he slags off israel, and rightly so in my opinion no, George is a fraud, an entertainer no different from Noel whom he's slating today. I understand completely that it's his job to appear controversial but never take George at his word nor take him seriously or you will be disappointed, mark my words.
Noel is spot on, as usual. I’ll never vote Labour as long as the Corbynistas are in charge. In fact, the only thing I’d give Corbyn is exactly what his hero Trotsky got in Mexico!!
Hahahaha, looks like the poor little snowflake needs his mummy. What's the far-right got to do with anything? We're talking about the working-class hero, Noel Gallagher, and the London liberal elite that the Trotskyist cunt Corbyn represents. All together now - "He got an ice pick, that made his ears burn!"
Trent Bardy: You expect me to listen to that other communist piece of Shit, Galloway? No fucking chance. 30 seconds is enough. And Noel’s a sell-out because he had a glass of champagne? Haha. Have you heard of the term ‘champagne-socialist’? It sums up perfectly the commie scum that runs the so-called Labour Party, with the anti-British scumbag Corbyn at the top. Now you talk about gullible, nobody is more gullible than Corbyn’s supporters, chanting his name and thinking their student debt is going to be written off. You couldn’t make it up. Unless you’re a genuine piece of communist shit too? And if that’s your profile pic, I suggest ‘ugly’ Noel gets a bit more pussy than you do.
The fact that you're advocating brutally murdering someone because you disagree with their politics makes it very difficult to take anything you say seriously, clearly you got a few screws loose
