Mr Galloway is one of the rare guests polite enough to address Col Davis, correctly by the standards of British English (ranks of Major and above are used as titles post-retirement) as 'Colonel', rather than automatically using his first name without being invited to do so. You can say whatever you will about Mr Galloway's political positions, but his politeness and eloquence repeatedly shine through.

Hate to think how we would feel if something like what is happening in Gaza would happen in the US. Would that change the minds of the lovers of war in this Country? Is that the only way America would stop, pause and recognize the true horror of what we have been supporting? Will we stay silent then? I think unfortunately it will be the only way people in this Country would be brought to their knees by mourning the loss of their own wives, children, mothers, aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers.
I like Galloway, a great orator. And even more rarely, a man of true character and integrity. But I disagree with his comment about Iran testing a nuclear weapon. No one has ever dug a 10mile deep hole into the earth. It would be more of an effort than actually making the weapon itself. Until the Ayotolah proclaims a new Fatwah ruling that nuclear weapons are no longer forbidden, they will never build or detonate a nuclear bomb. To clarify though, they almost certainly have all of the parts ready to assemble in a matter of hours or days.
I judge Trump by his actions, and not his words. He never started a single war, since he took power, which is a rarity among presidents. Even though he diplomatically supported Israel by doing the Abraham-accords and the Jerusalem move, he also tried to exit out of Syria (which his NeoCon subordinates like Milley, Pompeo and Bolton thwarted/slow-walked), which is the total opposite of what Israel wanted. So I give a lot of credit to what Trump did, despite some rhetoric to the contrary from him.
Bombing a nuclear centrifuge or power plant does not cause a nuclear explosion. I like him, but on that point he just doesn't know what he's talking about.
I wish Galloway gave as much care to his native Britons and the plight of the country as he does Muslims in Palestine and immigrants in his country. I have no time for international communists even if the guy has a few good points. I'm not sure if Americans know his marxist/leninist political persuasions
