You aren’t taking into consideration his target market. He’s not pitching this to a bunch of old rich guys, he’s speaking to a bunch of people just like him, people who are young and techy. It’s a different world in Silicon Valley. These are people who make multi million dollar deals while wearing sneakers and have been up for 36 hours while microdosing on LSD to complete a project.
MrUGOTpwNEDbyme just that particular device for legal reasons, the project so to speak was never really canceled, he just had to go about it a different way, ie; selling a “dash camera” that could be hacked with software he gives out for free and combined with another product to make a self driving car device.
I agree. But I also think that people who are overly talented like him make a very decent amount of money either way, and ultimately don't care too much about getting rich. He probably wouldn't say no to become the next billionaire but making great tech is more important to him.

Think about this , I'm a avid gamer on the SONY PS platform for many, many years. Very good I may add. Because of this man the Sony online network was hacked. He put the code out there for everyone even the average joes with no skills to crack their ps3 systems for invincibility, infinity lives, infinity ammo, the ability to change around in game environments that the developer spent time perfecting for the release of the game. I made a $400 investment in a system, then a additional investment of $600+ in games. This man is the root cause of the sony online network to be shut down for 2 + months. Sony only fixed the issue only as far as players not being able to access other players online identitys, that is as far as their fix went. Still to this day every asshole online now has the ability to still hack and cheat the system to gain a unfair advantage in all their games against fair players. If this was 2-3 people that would be fine. When half the gamers on the network around the world have this unfair advantage that is outrageous. This man now took my $1000 investment and turn it to a pile a scrap. GEO HOTS OWES ME $1000 for ruining my investment I made with sony back then. Point blank. Today 75%+ of the online community hacking and cheating on the system. Fuck a lawsuit sony should have had him killed. The developers of all the games should have him killed. Maybe you should be upset with Sony for having weak enough security that allowed him to hack it. He released the iPhone jail break to us all for free and I had nothing but positive experience a using that.
