My God this man was intelligent. He existed on a metaphysical level that seldom few are able to attain.

George speaks some very powerful truth here. It's just a shame a lot of people aren't aware of the importance of it.

I love seeing Ravi during this interview... he's just sitting there silently, looking at George, his master student, with so much pride and love... What a special friendship they had.

I didn't know how great this dude was. What a brilliant man.

I was born the year after George's death, so we never have been on this Earth at the same time, but I feel so connected to him. It only takes one interview to see how genuine and deep this man was. Life goes on within you and without you.

I love George's moral seriousness and his human sweetness: they flow together.

George Harrison was by far the most complex Beatle, I hope he's now in the ultimate happy place he was obviously looking for his whole life....

It's a damn shame!!! George & I were in the same hospital in NYC being treated for Cancer in 2001. I made it - why?!?!? George was absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Think i understood why all other pop-rock stars have fans, and George Harrison has devotees...

There are many things that strike me about George Harrison. One is that, he was extremely thoughtful. He has always come across as a person who wants to help people as much as he can by talking about his own experiences. He's not trying to sell you anything, he's telling you his experience and what you do with it, is what you do with it. The second thing that strikes me is that he's had a very fortunate existence from the time he was born. He came from a loving family, became part of an amazing musical experience, and created a loving family of his own. However, the Beatles, as successful as they were didn't fulfill his spiritual self, nor did his family. He found his spiritualism with the help of his friend. After reading George's book, I realized that he was really searching for answers to life. Why was he here? Where was he going? I think we all have these questions. George gave us some very intellectual insights on this subject in this interview. I'm thankful for this, as it's helped me look at life differently. Thank you George. Namaste

This man talks so much sense, its just that not everyone is the same! So as for the “knock on the door and you get the answer” is not always the way you get answers! Some people live beneath so many lies, they have no idea of how to speak the truth! Also sheep follow sheep! Its only when they stray off from the flock will they ever realise theres more to life than being herded, sheared, & locked in the pen of sheep life, & being controlled by the shepherd! But then again, theres always those wolves (even those in sheep’s clothing) who want to rip you apart! This world needs an absolute full mega do over! But for people to have their own mind! ..well ..that says it all! George is BRILL!! 🥰

Goooood man, George. Way ahead of the masses in his awareness. MOST are immersed in mass media... thousands of tv stations, internet, always on their cellphones either txting or talking or watching something... People have forgotten how to "go within" how to just BE... and be in tune with nature.... Hell, most people don't even THINK about nature. George was really wise and his songs display that. Great hearing him talk about the "more" of what life is really about. Truth is TRUTH... and he said it right.

The whole of society needs to think like George Harrison.

The contrast between this interview and any interviews during or shortly post Beatles is astonishing. George had truly evolved as a man and as a spirit.

Its amazing how well he compliments the "other three". Paul, the heart, John, the head , Ringo, the body, George, the soul.

Probably one of the most important interviews for humanity. I watched this in my 20s and knew it was of significance but had no comprehension of what George was trying to say. Thankfully a lot of us are on our journey now.

I love George and am watching this because I have just watched his and John's interview on the Frost Programme about meditation and I would like to experience it. However the only thing I would say that George didn't mention is that ordinary everyday people are running around and not thinking along the same lines and about these concepts and realisations because they have to work to make ends meet to survive. Then again we could all have worked hard to become successful famous musicians, but didn't, whereas George did and he used his fame to spread the message to us all.

George was on form that night. Integrity and awareness personified. It's so easy to forget the basic truths of living. Love you, George, and the compassion you showed.

George was the man that started my spiritual journey. First with Tomorrow Never Knows and then Within You and Without You, which was playing in my mind when I travelled through India and Nepal. George and his message were with me every day. Thank you George. We were talking.....

I have new level of respect for George Harrison. At time I remember thinking he was going "new agey" on us. But he was really onto something.

The consistent message throughout the Beatles music is love. Love is key to everything for all of us.

"Knock and the door will be opened." Here we are 2019 and so many are posting that they don't get what George was talking about. Does this surprise me? Look at what is happening and who are the most powerful leaders in the world today. George drove around all of Europe by himself chanting My Sweet Lord over and over. His goal later in life was to obtain spiritual perfection...For example, he spent most of his time meditating, planting trees, and tending his garden. One day George had to leave his home and was driving out the gates to head to a business meeting. As he left the gates and got on the road, he said to himself, " What the hell am I Doing." The moment George died, his wife Olivia and his son both said that the room actually lit up, they were astonished and knew that George was heading toward the light. Nothing more needs to be said.

I remeber that day,I saw this interview with my girlfriend when it was originally aired.but that day when we heard he passed away,very sad,we cried a long time.I love George's take on life and what comes next.Very intelligent man,we miss you.Thanks for sharing this interview

After listening to Eckhart Tolle for the last year or so, George makes perfect sense to me. An enlightened being I think. I sure we will all become awakened eventually.

When George talks about bliss, I think I did experience that when I was a kid, laying getting a sun tan. My only focus was feeling the heat of the sun on my skin, and my mind was totally relaxed, not full of any thoughts. Total relaxation, eyes closed, no outside distractions.

I’m in my 60s and just now seeing the depth of what GH is saying. I’ve been listening closely to the Beatles songs- the words. The Beatles helped usher in a new consciousness that is still unfolding!

George became a strong believer in Krishna and Krishna consciousness. He helped the Hare Krishna movement in many ways. Many of his songs even on his early albums, like ALL THINGS MUST PASS and LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD, are based on the philosophy of Bhagavad Gita. George produced and recorded the first record by a group of Hare Krishnas which immediately went to no.1 and was selling out in England and Europe ('69 &'70) for many months. During his last days he invited his 3 best friends from the Krishna movement, Mukunda, Shyamasundara, and Gurudas to spend time with him singing Hare Krishna and to be there during his final moments. Remember how he wrote a song on one of his early albums called THE ART OF DYING and many years later he was doing just that. So his life and his dying were all very spiritually focused. That is really quite a feat when you are so famous and so wealthy.

Listening to this was powerful!! I could not agree more with his “knock on the door and you’ll find the answers within” metaphor. I love how the interviewer just let him speak at length so he could spread a good message.

George and his music inspired me to seek truth, a blissful life and peace of mind.

George in my opinion was the deepest of the Beatles. He knocked and it was opened. See him up there in the world without end.

On my list of the 10 people i would have loved meet, George would be on the top of the list. The only thing that worries me is that i have so manny questions for him that i would be speechles in his presence.

When i first watched this after George passed i believed it. He achieved everything & did everything before age 30. There ALWAYS has to be a different answer to peace, happiness & solitude. It's not in how much money we have. There ALWAYS has to be something different. Something calming & peaceful. Not something to do with money & riches/status. Cause in the end that all doesn't matter. Love, respect & honor you can't physically touch like you could a car, house & bank account in a big bank.
